Corrupt Intervention default

I believe the game would be better balanced if 3 generator blocking were standard in any match, I mean without having the need for the 'corrupted intervention' perk.

Why do I believe this? Who doesn't use corrupted intervention currently takes 1 generator as soon as the match starts for the simple fact that the survivors start the match together and next to a generator, while the killer starts far away from them, until reaching this generator is finished. Soon, the perk becomes essential and is a solution to this problem that I believe is an imbalance, causing assassins to have to play with only 3 perks.

As for the corrupted intervention perk, it could add 1 blocked generator or even become something else that has nothing to do with blocking generators.

While i do support the idea of getting corrupt as base kit, no, you just can't give one powerfull perk to killers and leave survivors with nothing to get as well. That would cause balance problem.

And corrupt isn't needed for every killer, if corrupt will ever become base kit nurse blight and spirit should get only half of it.

Yes, if the loadouts were constrained by perk classes or point limit (e.g. NOED = 4 points, Monstrous Shrine = 1 point, ...)

In the current state, this idea would lead to:

    • built in corrupt intervention
    • perk1: ruin
    • perk2: pop
    • perk3: tinkerer
    • perk4: scourge pain res
    • passive slowdown: pig RBT or cenobite's chains

    Just no!

Actually, Corrupt Intervention as Basekit will be healthy for the game, as it pressure to encounter the killer, and seek exploring the map more and finding the correct gen to work on first, to avoid 3 gen situations. It helps the killer out with avoiding situations in which by the time they chase and down one Survivor, they are already lost 2-3 gens by then.

Plus, it is among the 40 perks that will be Reworked/base kit added soon; just like Borrowed Time and other strong Meta perks. So it should be positive for both sides.

As for strong top tier killers, I am sure once the meta shifts and solo Survivors have communication capabilities as regular swf (somehow) they can think about tone down those strong killers too. But keep in mind, it can be rare to encounter a God Tier killer whom will stomp you.

Basekit corrupt intervention for killers and basekit borrowed time for survivors sounds good to me.
