Blocking exit gate a Lery's with Twins

I was playing a game using the Twins. I had managed to sacrifice two survivors when the last generator was powered. One of the exit gates was opened and I managed to down one of the remaining survivors while they were making their way towards it. I hooked the survivor and camped until they hit stage two and then headed towards the open exit gate.

When I reached the gate, the other survivor unhooked the hooked survivor. I figured they were heading towards the gate I was at (as the other gate was probably not yet opened and there was little time left in the end game collapse) I unleashed Viktor and stood with the twins side by side blocking the way to the gate. The survivors came to the exit but couldn't get by as I was switching between Charlotte and Viktor. The end game collapse ended and the two remaining survivors were taken by the entity.

I was told this was an exploit and possibly a ban-worthy offense. Is this true? Could I please get an explanation as to why or why not as I doubt a simple yes or no answer will satisfy my accuser.

Thank you in advance.

First of all, it's not bannable and you are fine.

Secondly, there are two exit gates. This is different from situations where, for example, the basement can actually be made inaccessable, or certain hooks in some areas.

Part of the Twin is they are able to block. If they are that stupid to hang around and not try the other gate, then that's on them. That's why there are two gates dude.

The only time I perceive "Body Blocking" to be a bad thing are when survivors body block each other to cause them to get hurt, AND when a killer locks someone into a corner and refuses to ever let them out (such as the basement for HOURS). Tournament rules should apply here, that a killer shouldn't lock them in place for more than 10 seconds. Anything less than 12 seconds should be fine, imo.

Sometimes the game servers give me such bad lag for specific matches that the only way to play Wraith is to lock a survivor against a gen and uncloak to hit them, which then grants them a second or two of invincibility to run away thru me with speed. Its not fun when the game servers give us that bad of lag, but at least they can run away, which seems to prevent a 2nd hit cause the servers place me so far behind them that I have to get in front of them to hit them again. Which isn't fun either.

actually charlotte loses collision after a period of time, that is assuming you can't just go to the other exit gate tho, either they need to switch every now and then (in which case you can kick victor) or they lose collision

Not an exploit, there are two gates and they could have gone to the other one. Also many streamers have done exactly this and none of them were banned for it either.

The survivors came to the exit but couldn't get by as I was switching between Charlotte and Viktor.

it’s very weird how both of them didn’t kick Victor? There is a little cooldown after switching, isn’t there?

but yeah as others have said, this is not holding the game hostage and shouldn’t be ban-worthy. There is another exit and EGC made sure there was an end to the match no matter what.
