Bloodweb bugged?

Description of the issue: The Entity decided to go rogue when eating items out of my bloodweb this morning. See screenshots below, showing the Entity eating an offering in the middle of the bloodweb and not going on a connecting path. It typically never eats the middle unless the path connects to it, or there's nothing else left to eat.
How often does this occur: First time I've seen it this badly.
