Sloppy Butcher - Xbox lag issue

I already know that Wolf74 will comment in this and tell me how bad I am and how I need to stop complaining and that it's just 'my bad connection. However, I want to bring this issue to light and see if others are experiencing it too. I'm not sure if PC has this issue or not.
Whenever a killer has Sloppy Butcher (SB) on and they hit a survivor, there is a significant lag and the survivor often runs into things - I've noticed this as both a killer and survivor. It's actually frustrating because it feels almost as if an exploit on various levels. Is there a way the devs can look into SB and adjust it? I know when a survivor is hit, they jump forward at a burst of speed - that's not the problem. The problem is when SB pops up on the side to notify the survivor of it. That pop up appears to be what is causing the lag issue, I believe. What do others think? And please, let's be adults here.
