PC - Refuses to load and states I have modified files when I haven't

I have verified the integrity of the game files multiple times today and all I do is launch the game

On first attempt I was attempting to enter bloodpoint and charm codes into the Store when the error first popped up; then despite verifying the files multiple times, this message pops up every time:

    I am very curious. Your total number of files is very small compared to mine. When I verifying the integrity of the files, I get "All 865 files succesfully validated". Are your files corrupt?

    If you uninstalled and reinstalled Dead by Daylight, would the result be the same?

    I uninstalled then reinstalled, and that seems to have worked
