would like to know about the rudimentary knowledge of Hag.

I would like to use Hag until the next grade reset with OTP-like thinking, but there are a few things I can't figure out in her chase.

1. how should I set up traps in LT?

I have one in the center to handle either way, but sometimes there are situations where I can't get to it in time and that can be fatal.

I know it is case by case, but where is the best place to place them?

2. my traps get destroyed during a chase.

This happens especially if the opponent is a high level PT player, but if you are chasing one person, they will step on your traps one after another.

I try to set traps at intervals, but sometimes a survivor I'm chasing will jump on a different trap than the one he stepped on, and it's frustrating.

Should I change the target if they are trampling all over the place?

3. quick healing.

There are many situations where I spread wounds to many survivors, but they are treated immediately.

So in those matches, I keep chasing one or two people and thoroughly camp and tunnel, but even then there are many times when I can't make it in time.

Is there anything we can do in PS to counteract this?

    Hi

I'm not exactly a hag main but I think I have a decent understanding of how to play her so here are my answers to your questions:

    1) It really depends what is around the tile itself, if you trap the actual vaults, it'd very easy for the survivors to play around it. You're 110% so these tiles can be painful if ran correctly. When I play hag, I typically try to either trap near the center, that way both windows are covered and it should swing their camera to mess with them and prevent fast vaults.

    2) This is hag's main counterplay and it's a rough one - you need to adapt on the fly; place traps in unexpected places or where survivors can't see you. Setting traps mid chase isn't a terrible idea if you can zone the survivor out in some way - if they can daisy chain tiles together it's difficult

You shouldn't also over commit to a survivor if you have no traps, especially if they aren't near objectives such as hooks or generators. If the survivor is in a strong part of the map with no traps, cut your losses and move on.

    3) Healing in general is quite easy at the moment due to boons and medkits. Here are how I deal with it:

I run Sloppy Butcher to make it take longer

I run Save The Best For Last to chew through their 2 health states quicker (It also helps you teleport to your traps quicker after an initial hit)

You can run Franklins to deal with Medkits, then you can trap their medkits which will hurt them a lot.

And maybe you can run the new perk 'Shattered Hope' if boons are being particularly bothersome to you

Hopefully you find something useful in this mini essay
