Cannibal Chainsaw Unusable after Tantrum

I was playing as Cannibal, RPD as the map (no offering). I downed someone with my chainsaw, bumped/tantrumed, picked up a survivor before the tantrum was over, dropped the survivor (hook too far away), then for the rest of the match I could not use my chainsaw. If I tried to activate my power, it only made the clicking sound of trying to activate while in a tantrum.
