Please note: Although we may stop by occasionally, this is not a developer Q&A.
We have temporarily disabled Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater Cosmetic (all queues) due to issues affecting gameplay.

Theoretical Q about Cross Progression: Merge? Or only one?

Sorry if this is a strange question, but I wanted to ask: let's say I've played DBD on switch for the past few years and made a bunch of progress on it, player level, shards, bp, auric cells, cosmetics, characters, perks, etc. and recently, I started to play DBD on steam, I've already linked my steam to my behavior account,
if tomorrow lets say, BHVR says "cross progression is supported on Switch now!" and I link my Nintendo account to my Behavior account lets say, would it merge both progress (bp, cosmetics, characters, etc.) I've made to both steam and switch to one? Or would only one platform be chosen if that makes sense?

Both accounts/progresses will merge together so that you don’t lose anything!
