We deployed a fix to solve an issue preventing players from unhooking, healing or picking up Survivors. Players will need to reboot to see the change reflected in-game. Thank you for your patience!

The meta killer perks have been double nerfed, making most completely useless.

I completely understand that the meta was supposed to change, and that overall killers have been buffed, but this was a needed change. (so, the excuse of "but killers have been buffed" isn't really valid)

So, I don't understand why so many killer perks have been nerfed into being completely useless.

100% ruin is not only a terrible perk, it also prevents the killer from kicking gen. Which will become good. The nerf was so much needed but... cutting the perk by more than half?

Pain Resonance should still make survivors scream. It would've been a very good nerf, however, to remove the loud notification when no survivor is working on a gen. A healthy change to leave more counterplay to it, instead of completely removing its primary use. The gen regression needs to be heavily buffed if you really want to remove its information aspect. Otherwise, the PR + DMS combo will now become mandatory in order to use PR.

POP also didn't really need to be butchered like that. I think the idea to make it work at current regen progress was good but 20%? leave it at 25 then? Or even 22.5 in order to make it the same at near 100%.

In most cases, you're not even going to use pop on nearly finished generators.

On top of that, survivors really didnt take the same treatment regarding their meta perks, most have been reworked without being necessarily nerfed.

Except for DS. Which is the change I understand the least among this patch.

The patch goes basically like this:

"DS is still necessary to prevent tunneling, and is now less effective due to the baseline change. So, we're nerfing it even further so that killers won't really care about it and keep tunneling more than before".

The stun needs to be MUCH longer. it needs to be a dissuasive tool. Especially if now it deactivates. A killer should face a serious dilemna when downing a survivor recently unhooked.

Also, a 3 seconds stun means really a 1.5 second stun since the DS animation takes about 1.5 seconds...
