4 players using OTR will now be the equivalent of quintupling the current effect of Borrowed Time
Mentioned it in another thread, but this reworked OTR is severely overtuned, and is a direct quintupling of an existing meta perk.
Currently survivors run BT to protect others, now it will be expected that you bring OTR for yourself, as your teammates will be doing the same. Similar to the old trial of "selfish care" where healing speed for others was lowered when you ran self care, it punishes any player who doesn't bring the selfish perk.
Now when any survivor is unhooked, you have to assume they are protected by OTR instead of BT, and instead of the current 16 seconds of protection that you can wait out when they choose to bodyblock you, they get the exact same effect as current Borrowed Time but for 80 seconds.
The killer's only choices currently are to hit the survivor when you know they're protected to get them to bugger off, or wait out the 16 second timer and punish their aggressive decision making. With this change, the killer's agency is entirely removed in the equation, because if you choose to wait out "BT" they instead have 80 seconds to be in your way and be a nuisance while essentially invulnerable.
This perk categorically will not be used to protect survivors from being tunneled after being unhooked, it is simply a major buff to the current Borrowed Time, and largely in its ability to be used to aggressively bully the killer and punish them massively for not trying to tunnel.
This perk's change is ludicrous, and should never make it to live servers.

I read "Damn it I can't tunnel anymore and I hate this"
You shouldn't be aiming at hitting survivors that have been unhooked.
They also lose their status when doing pretty much anything. Similiarly to DS.

What in the hell did you read then?
The point is that this is a massive buff to the players who get unhooked and bodyblock you when you're actively trying NOT to go for them.

You're severely downplaying how good OTR will be and why it shouldn't reach live servers. I hope it gets a much finer definition but as of right now, it suggest that a player is immune to damage for 80 seconds.
At endgame that is a guaranteed escape because all you have to do is run through the likely already open door. On top of that you can probably body block every hit the killer dishes out to your teammates.
It is a disgusting perk that makes borrowed time and the base kit borrowed time useless. I already try to not tunnel and always go after a different survivor but I shouldn't be punished for playing right when the person unhooked is allowed to be a nuisance at their own leisure

You lose the endurance status effect when taking a hit.

It shouldn’t work in endgame just like the new DS imo. It might still be too good but I’d start with that and see how it goes.

Alot of these changes are questionable, but this one sounds like it'll be consistently abused by survivors. They'll do unsafe rescues, then the unhooked player will use the effect of OTR to save the rescuer immediately, with zero risk to either one of them. They both have a whopping 80 seconds to be a complete nuisance for the killer, bodyblocking and trolling with their nigh invincibility from a single perk. It's definitely overtuned, and they are definitely going to have to nerf it, otherwise it's just a superior version of borrowed time. Not good.

It's really weird how they removed EGC from DS yet somehow add much worse variant into the game.

They lose the endurance if they try to unhook.

Ohh, ok. That may not be as busted then.
