THANK YOU for nerfing Spine Chill, this perk shouldn't have even existed in the first place.
Thank GOD they are finally nerfing this blatantly unfair perk.
Stealth Killers are already weak enough as is, with nearly all of them if not ALL of them being M1 Killers.
The saving grace of these Killers is that they get the drop on Survivor, but instead of this being the case this one lone stupidly good perk made their existence meaningless.
Idc if Killers can just "erm look away from the Gens sweaty", I don't want to spend every single game with my Killer turned 30 degrees just to not activate this stupidly strong perk.
And if that wasn't bad enough, for whatever reason it increased VAULT SPEED, but thank God once more THAT is being removed.
If it were up to me I would have simply completely reworked this perk, no single perk should invalidate like 30% of Killers in the game. But I will take ANY nerf to this perk at all, so please do not back down on this change.
If Survivors struggle against Ghost Face or Myers because of this change, they probably shouldn't have had the perk in the first place. You all know I am not wrong.

I'm glad it's getting nerfed, helps stealth killers who are already weak as it is, not to mention the faster vault speed should have never existed to begin with, so I'm glad that's gone as well.

are you serious about 6% vault speed? what does make u think that 6% vault speed was unfair im just curious!

If vault speed was such an issue I dont get why they didnt just remove that but still let it alert you like normal. The perk is now useless.

I'm fine with the vault speed gone, but letting LOS decide if it works or not makes it almost useless in indoor maps and houses and even sitting on a gen in a jungle gym. This scenarios where it was the most effective. I don't need help so know if the killer comes on Autoheaven, I need help on maps like RPD or Lèry's when there is a Wraith with silent or global bell.
And the 2 killers who suffer the most from SC (Myers and GF) still suffer from it, because they need LOS to stalk.
Maybe keep the LOS requirement but only up to 8 or maybe 12m around the survivor after which it triggers like before. So people have a second to react. This helps the stealth killers, but doesn't cripple the perk.

It lets you know when a Killer is looking at you, such as Myers or Ghostface.
I agree it is bad now, but it deserved the nerf. No reason to have a perk that counters Killers that are C tier at best.

Have you even used it? it makes HUGE difference than you think.
Sometime, knowing killer is looking at you while not looking at them can be useful I guess.
Kinda like windows of opportunity as it gonna help chases more but much more niche.

So instead of countering most of the killer that are C tier, now it counters only two C tier killers (or whatever tier these 2 are). And does basically nothing outside of it. People brought this perk for 3 things (skillchecks, vision and vault speed) and 2 got removed basically.
WoO is still useful tho. It's niche isn't that big imo and even some advanced players could use it to make their chases even more efficient. One could say even WoO is a crutch perk now lol.
And Spine Chill? I seriously don't see what even newer players could do with it.

I meant WoO is strong general chase perk, and spine chill is much more niche chase perk.
Not really sure if it worth a perk slot but knowing there is a clear line of sight will definitely help survivors and will be more reliable than old one in certain circumstance.

It still counters Killers which are C tier at best and who needed the nerf the most. Myers and GF both need LOS to stalk which still enables the perk. Every other stealth based killer could effectively crab-walk to a Gen. And let's be honest: Wraith is fast enough...

I'm a killer main, but I honestly suspected that Spinechill would have simply not worked against undetectable. Rather surprised on the nerf, myself.

yeah but its a perk slot and this perk is nothing compared to CoH unbreakable and other stuff. this perk in ptb state is worse than premonition)

Seems like a useless info perk now. I can follow the reasoning for the vault speed change. Not so much the rest. I could understand making it so that it won't work against killers when undetectable. But if it only shows when a killer looks at you (and doesn't work through walls), then it's just telling you what you're eyes see already.
And I've seen some players with hearing disabilities mention that it's gonna make the game harder for them to have enough information that others have to handle chases before the killer is already on them.
