Switch - archive bar disappears sometimes = no progress in tome task

Sometimes the sidebar for the archive is gone and when this happens there won't be progress for the tome task. And you have to restart the game.
e.g. I equipped the Lightborn emblem tome task and I definitely had a golden emblem, but because the archive bar was gone, the emblem didn't count. And even after I restarted the game, I didn't get the progress.
Don't know if this is only a switch problem. I already had it twice or thrice on switch.
