Prove Thyself and tool boxes make the extra time it takes to do gens irrelevant, sorry, I love a lot of the mid-chapter plans but it's not enough to slow down survivors doing generators fast.
I know players don't want to be on generators hitting skill checks, it can get boring, even I get bored with it but that is that game. Don't matter how good you're at looping if the generators don't get done, but yes looping is the more fun part of the game.
The generator changes are just not going to be enough, the only changes it will result in are that prove thyself will become the new meta and toolboxes will be seen more.
Even the 2.5% when kicking generators really doesn't do much, by the time you have kicked the generator, moved away and came back, a survivor who touched it most likely repaired 2.5% of the generator by the time you get back to the generator.
I would love to be wrong about this but pretty certain I'm not wrong about it.
For me, I would slow down how quickly survivors can do a generator more, the time it currently takes 1 survivor to do a generator is how long it should take 2 survivors to do a generator together. Believe it's 90 seconds for 1 survivor.
This is just an example as not sure of the exact seconds but something like 120 seconds for 1 survivor, 90 seconds for 2 survivors and 60 seconds for 3 survivors. Personally don't think any generator should ever allow 3 survivors to be on it at one time.
The 2.5% when kicking generators should be increased to 4/5%, it has to be something that really does make survivors concerned that the killer might come back to gen, I'm not convinced 2.5% is enough to concern survivors.
