Can hackers mess with your movement?
TLDR: can a hacker do the things I describe in the game, or am I just delusional/wrong?
I played a match with someone who I am assuming for lack of a better explanation to be a hacker. They essentially ignored multiple of my hits even though they were injured, when I tried chasing them (only them, I didn't see it happen with any others in the match) I would occassionally rubber band in super odd ways that made no sense including moving to areas I wasn't moving to, (this next one is a arguable as I could have simply not realized how long I spent so I'm not sure to count it) It felt like the door was opened far faster than should have been possible, and when the match was just about to end I got discconnected which hasn't happened to me before (once again, not saying this is hard proof or that the person was a hacker- it's just the only explanation I can come up with). I know some will point out lag or a shoddy internet could do that, but my internet seemed to be doing fine on my other computer at the time making me unsure.

The rubberbanding could be lag on their side combined with the current acknowledged issue of rubberbanding in matches in general.
Same with not hitting them even though they were injured, this could also have been Dead Hard or them 360ing you/outplaying aim assist if you are on controller of course.
Exit gates opening faster could be done by coordination (someone was already at the switch when the last gen was just done) and some perks can Fasten it as well (Wake Up!, Spine Chill, Resilience, Leader and probably others)
Disconnection can’t really be explained, but can theoretically always happen with a connection hiccup…
that said. I would be suspicious as well and this could all be done by hacks as far as I know. If you have recorded the match and reported them in-game, you should create a support ticket with the clip so it gets looked at (they wouldn’t ban the player if they weren’t sure if hacks were happening or not)
