DBD Needs New/More Gamemodes
Description: Add new gamemodes to the game and rotate between them one at a time at all times. This is so player pool doesn't split with many modes, while keeping the game fresh maintaining player retention
• 8v2: 8 survivors vs 2 killers, more limited map pool (bigger maps) you can now play killer with one of your friends online!
• Horror Mode: Survivors are in first person with a wide FOV, no more checking your back while doing generators, stealth killers are your worse enemy, watch out!
• Deathmatch: 5 Killers fight each other, they have to destroy generators around the map while fighting each other, the other killers will respawn with a delay when killed and whoever destroys the most - the entity will reward you by making you its champion and killing the rest

Closing Notes
As a game developer myself (former Ubisoft) I know some of these are less practical to implement then others, such as the deathmatch gamemode, so it may be ignored if too complicated or deviates too much from base game, the other ones are definitely good though. Also some of the new gamemodes may not be entirely balanced, but I look at them as very social modes that breathe life into the game

Be sure to give your own gamemode ideas in the comments, and also how you think the rotation should work! I just believe in giving specific ideas alongside feedback, none of my suggestions have to happen but two of them have been achieved by modders so I know they're easy to do / already supported, and they seemed like a lot of fun. Even if they were custom game options only it would be a step in the right direction, as long as there is a customer game browser to accompany it.
Do you think it should change/rotate daily, weekly, or give you a random one when you click on it?

Procedurally generated dungeons/escape rooms. 4 - 6 survivors. 1 Mastermind.

I don´t think this is coming.
And i think this is better. A lot of games try too many things and fail. Sadly Ubisoft is a perfect example how to not do it.
DBD is simple. But in fact it is pretty complicated when you think of a new player - all the perks and items and mechanics to learn.
Focus one one thing and make it good. It is getting more complicated over time by itself.
And you can hate it but you have to admit - for a game to stay relevant for over 6 years is pretty good.
And to add one thing: A mode without perks and items would be cool. We already have a faster better furhter power creep in this game.

I like the idea, but I think they are not doing it right now and there was rumors about new gamemodes coming in the future

New gamemode will be fun but the problem is there is really not be enough people to take playerbase diversion.

Hide N Seek Game Mode would be interesting.
No more Generators, the game is focused more on Hiding for Survivors for a certain period of time, before the Exit Gates can automatically Kickstart its backup power and allows Survivors to unlocked it and escape. The timer can be five to ten minutes, depending on the map and killer.
Pallets spawns are limited, so that chase is discouraged and hiding is more viable. Survivors could engage chase; but risk being eliminated if caught too quickly. There are 6 Survivors now, but only two hook states, the hook state is double the time (120 seconds); so that camping is not viable and gives survivors more time to rescue.
There will be no idle Crows; yet locker crows will be delayed bit longer... Crows will be buffed to reveal Survivors through Killer Instinct and noise notification if disturb.

For those saying "there's not enough players" or "it will divide the playerbase too much" the goal of rotating between them one at a time, or only bringing them in during events aims to bring back players/maintain player retention and also to prevent dividing the player pool, which is why I did not say make them individually selectable but rather rotate. That's my response to that criticism.
For others who say the game should not have any other modes ever and should only focus on the base game, I have nothing to say to you, that's an incredibly boring mindset I can't reason with. Its suppose to be very social, casual fun. It's like Call Of Duty adding prophunt as a gamemode. Strays away from the game but as a limited time mode it's fun, don't be so uptight about the idea. I studied game design and I think this is a good move for the health of the game
