We need changes introduced to solo q ASAP!
Because matches turn out like this....
The icon idea of showing what teammates are working on was a great idea! Disappointing to see nothing has been shared since it was announced. It would also be great to to have a base kindred, but without the killer aura reading, so multiple people don't go for the save unnecessarily and keep pressure on gens, which would be very nice for camping situations. Basically we just need some base changes for solo q to help everyone out a little, cuz its painful out here 😥

These changes are coming. Not sure about base kit kindred, but honestly, why shouldn't they add it, would it be too op? I'll touch on that in a bit, but basically, they said its on the back burner until next year due to there not being time to be on this year's road map. Sad but at least they're talking about it.
Now back to base kit kindred. If we do have to wait a year, they may as well do it right and add this. Some killers will say its OP, but its good in the long run. With the hud displaying what you're doing, and with kindred on top of that, this brings solo queue very close to SWF lvl communication. Not quite as good as coms, but you will know most of what's going on. SWFs on coms are already more than kindred can ever be, and there is nothing killers can do about this advantage, but giving solo queues a way to 'share' information with the team helps killers too in the long run.
Sometimes they make changes to help solo queue that becomes too OP in a SWF, or they don't nerf something that swfs abuse bc it will hurt solo queue too much. Overall balancing the game is difficult bc there are actually three groups to consider, not just two. But with these changes, the two groups will be close enough that anything that is needed to be nerfed can be as it will affect both groups similarly, and not leave solo queues to suffer. And yes, I thinnk it should show killer aura too. Swfs can tell their team if they're being camped, and this will allow solo queues to do so as well.

I completely agree! Unfortunate that solo q changes didn't take priority for this year's road map, i feel like it should have but what can you do.

I dont need to know if random teammates do Bone or Chest, its too much clutter infos.
What I need to know:
- In the chase (like obsession)
- Kindred.
- Doing Gen
- Showing progression or the Gen survivor's doing.
Example Dwight on hook, Meg in chase. Jake on 80% Gen and Clau on 60% Gen. Its great to know both Jake and Clau on their own Gen with Kindred, but the best option is having Clau go for unhook, so Jake can commit and complete his Gen.
Solo's chasing skill isnt worse than Swf, its the time efficient that Swf has from infos.

Honestly, I just want mini tentacles for the non-obsession survivors. Knowing who is being chased is huge. It gives the other players the freedom to hop on gens, posture for a hook save, etc.
OR in the survivor HUD they all have obsession tentacles so the survivors don't know who the obsession is, but the killer does. (Which would bring more value to obsession perks for killers).
I like this because it's a good trade, the survivors now know who is always in chase but the killer only knows who the obsession is.
Reasons to not give survivors too much information:
Knowing if someone is on a gen or not could lead to unfavorable discussions post-game "Why weren't you on a gen Claudette????" - random Dwight. Same with bones or healing. "I was in chase for XX seconds and all you two did was heal and touch bones." - random Meg.
It would definitely be an advantage to have the gen/healing info. But this extra information could also make it hard for killer on-boarding. (If everyone has the same information as a sweaty SWF, then new killers will run into efficient survivors faster than now). Killer on-boarding matters because we want to have a ratio of 4 survivors to 1 killer.
Lastly, too much information would destroy the value added from survivor aura perks like Bond, Empathy, Kindred, etc.

Make it so I can see my allies perks in the lobby, that way I know how they are going to play (for example if they have head on and I can run by their locker letting them help me), or if they have heal perks and want to heal me. Or even a ping system.
I just feel there is so many small QoL changes to perks/lobbies that could make solo surviving nicer. Going to go back to head on again and say let the locker I'm in glow in a short radius to allies.

I agree improving solo Q should have been the priority, they did the opposite by buffing every killers, and with longer gens camping is more effective
The 5 seconds BT doesn't change anything and they will probably nerf OTR to oblivion before it goes live, I'm a bit sad
