new player BP grind

Is there any plan on lowering the amount of BP needed to rank up from 1-50?

At this point in the game, a new player needs to put in over 500+ hours just to p1 each killer and survivor (And this is taking into account you getting 0 q time, a 10 min match, and max base BP) I just recently picked the game up about 2 weeks ago so luckily I got in on the event and was getting a massive boost to my BP each match. however, I had some friends who were interested in playing till they found out the time they would need to invest just to get the perks they would need in order to play the game.

Is this not seen as a barrier to entry? I can see why people who have been playing from the start it might not be an issue since you would be stacking BP between each new chapter to be released and then be able to invest any bp you do earn into that one person to unlock their stuff but for a new player to need to invest that much time is kind of a mountain to look at.

A simple idea would be something like making p1-p3 take about 500k each adding up to about the time it used to take just to hit p1. With the new prestige system, players are still gonna have things to work for even after p3 and you could even take that 3 million BP you removed from p2-p3 and spread it out across p4-p100 by adding like 31k bp per prestige lvl after p3.
