Suggestion - Revamp the UI + Improve the lack of accessibility options
The reason for this post is really simple. I find every single element of this games UI design obnoxious, tedious, annoying and sometimes physically painful.
Click to unlock Bloodweb nodes - Aside from inflicting RSI on everyone, why do developers feel the need to add "hold to interact" mechanics into PC games? It makes UI interaction, especially on repetitive tasks, needlessly tedious, time consuming & painful. Also, do you know how much time people could save if they could just click to unlock nodes? Given that it takes about 1 second, a level 50 bloodweb has about 25 nodes that's 30 seconds for each blood web (if you include the slow transition time & annoying message that is shown every time you level a non prestiged character). Usually I complete 1 bloodweb per 50k.
Let's do the maths: 1,000,000 / ~50,000 ~ 20 blood web completions
20 * 30 = 600
600/60 = 10
So it takes 10 mins to use up blood points when at cap. You physically can't go faster than that because the UI wont let you.
"But just use points as you go", I hear you say. Well, no, that doesn't solve anything. What if you want to dump points onto killer as survivor? You have to leave your team if playing as SWF. They have to wait 10 mins for you to dump points? What about as killer? You can't ready up and dump points into survivor either. So no, "Just use as you go" is not a good enough argument to keep things as they are. The only people that can "just dump points as they go" are people who have everything at prestige 3. Which leads me into my next point:
Add UI to enable players to dump points into killer or survivor regardless of what they've chosen. - Self explanatory, see previous section for why this is an issue
Give UI sounds their own volume slider - Maybe others don't find this an issue but I suffer from Misophonia, which is actually quite common. I'm sure other people may have different sensory issues. Personally, I have to alt tab all the time just to decrease the volume then alt tab again once game starts JUST because the bloodweb noises are ANNOYINGLY OBNOXIOUS. I don't think it's too much to ask for this feature either
Unable to use shop or view compendium whilst ready - Lol, why??
Remove the offerings screen entirely - Every single game we have to wait 10-20 seconds whilst each offering is slowly revealed. It's annoying and increases time between matches. It could easily be added as part of the loading screen.
Force 16:9 aspect ratio setting only works in game - I'd like this to work in the menus too please. I can't see player names or who's ready or anything:
Lastly: Please be more considerate with sounds in the actual game itself. - Imagine the following scenario:
You're doing a generator + There's a boon next to you + Dredge has unleashed his BS ability
or maybe another scenario:
You're chasing an injured blendette + half done generator nearby + boon nearby + troll fast vaulting anything he can find in the distance + the chase music
From an auditory perspective, this is HORRIBLE to listen to & really overwhelming. Aside from being sensory overload for someone like me, making it hard to even hear yourself think, you are denied the auditory queues that are a core mechanic to this game.
Here are my suggestions:
1a - Volume slider for generators & Boons (note this should have nothing to do with range)
or
1b - Slightly reduce the volume generators / boons whilst right next to them (again, should have nothing to do with the ability to locate them, just their volume in the immediate vicinity)
2 - Notification & heartbeat noise volume slider - This is a noise that's designed to help you, not hinder you, and there shouldn't be any unfair advantage in adding this as an option
3 - Lower the volume of dredges "nightfall" ability - The skill is called "nightfall" not "nightfall and the howls of a thousand slaughtered children". Honestly, there's absolutely no need for this obnoxious skill to punish BOTH sight and sound.
Moving forward, especially regarding new killers & reworks, I'd like to see the developers show more care & respect to the games core mechanics especially sensory ones.
Am I the only one who finds the UI cumbersome, obnoxious and annoying? It triggers me more than a camping bubbuh or sweaty nurse players with noed. Maybe I'm in the minority when it comes to how much these small details bother me but even if I'm the only one I think many people would appreciate the suggestions I've made in bold above.
Thoughts?

I would like more settings in general, just because people with disabilities exist. All the sound and graphics options that games have nowadays are there for a reason, not just for advantages, but for people with different disabilities to adjust the game so they can have a good time playing as well. So, to me, I am okay with them and in general with any settings options that help others have a better gaming experience.
