Let Killers see the entire area of effect of Boon: Circle of Healing with a big blue border.

No because as soon as they take a hit they hold W to their Boon healing area until I snuff the totem out, becoming too much of a waste of time.

I like the nerfs to holding W but god damn there are like seven billion Endurance based perks now and Healing is even worse?? No nerfs to Circle of Healing either meaning you as a Killer still can't even see the blue border when inside of the healing area.

Yeah. Just like Survivors are able to instantly bless another one or the same one. Yes, an overpowered perk needs only slightly overpowered counterplay that also, while being overpowered, can be instantly countered seconds after you snuff it out. This perk needs to be made this way or the healing rates are just not fair and unjustified.

Nope. And it was not a "tech" either. This is also funny - DBD-players call everything a "tech".

It IS a tech and it WAS abusing the perk, though. Luckily I can just wait out the timer by slugging you :)

Boon: Circle of Healing is a handout of free health states in seconds. Deserves a counter-handout, what's the problem here exactly? Survivors get handouts by being able to crush a Totem they cleanse but Killers need to run a perk to do the same?? Killers can only rekindle Pentimento which can also be instantly cleansed while Survivors can rekindle all of their Boons with no penalty and cooldown? How is this fun and fair? If I wasted time finding the totem and snuffing it out, I deserve at least a cooldown.
Not a fun game mechanic. Doesn't stop a 4K because Boon players tend to be bad at the game too because they lose chases too much, but it turns a 15 minute game into a 40 minute game just to get a 4K. Literally you and all the people upvoting you two have never had to play against a slightly well coordinated team abusing Boon: Circle of Healing to make the game as long as possible.
Half the people here don't know there's no visual notification on screen for the Killer like there is for Survivor because they literally only played Survivor with it and just weren't well coordinated, even Dead Hard in its current state won't save you from dying if you can't use it properly. That doesn't speak in ANY way to how balanced the perk is.
You can be bad with a one shot sniper rifle in a video game, that doesn't mean there can't ever be people who are great with it and make the enemy team's day one of pure suffering. We probably shouldn't use your experience to decide the balance of when and how players get this sniper rifle.
This wouldn't be a bad idea. Let the Killer easily know he's in the healing area, then slightly boost the range of the default directional audio cue. You could even get away with revealing the aura of the Boon for 2 seconds after it's placed with a blue aura and as a Killer you would still be way too busy just pressuring gens and chasing people to go take care of it that second.
Considering how powerful Boon is, you could keep the healing speed so there's a point to using it while making it really easy for a Killer to locate it UNLESS they use Shattered Hope and you would get something that looks like balance or buff Shattered Hope.
An even better nerf than that, let Boon only be used 2 times per trial. If a Killer finds your totem TWICE, they already wasted enough time.

Hardly a handout. Heals in seconds? That used to be the case. Honestly, so many survivors rely on COH so much they throw the game over it, but we never hear about those matches. IDK how many times, I've snuffed out a COH boon, hear another boon a minute later, and go right back to that same boon to see the adorable survivor that lit it the first time self-healing. Or...
let them keep it. You can be sure if they think they have a "safe space" you'll know where to find them.
Also, lets not forget the COH users who can't find totems to save their life. So they don't find one until 1-2 gens are left, wasted a good chunk of the map finding one, and in that case, it really didn't affect the game that much, or the first one they find is out in the middle of the open so they waste time blessing that. And I just pray and HOPE they're the type to re-bless a totem I just put out when its out in the open LOL.
It's not super hard to find them.
The only change I'd be like after 3 nerfs of that perk + a new perk that destroys the totem if you're really worried about boons, would be no speed bonus for getting healed or healing someone else in the radius. If someone wants to heal you, its just the standard 16 seconds (honestly playing killer, I couldn't care less if they did make that change). But I don't think anything is necessary to tell the killer where the boon is. Putting solid map pressure solves most of these problems, and them taking the time to heal everytime they take a hit bc they have the good ol' boon safety net, can be used to your advantage.
And all the other boons are pretty much worthless. Shadowstep is ok. but you can't think putting a change on all boons just to nerf the one you think is op, because it makes all the other ones even more worthless. If you want to suggest nerfs to COH SPECIFICALLY, regardless of what I think is good or bad about it, at least you're not suggesting a change for all of them for the sake of simply "I can't find it" but saying "the speed is too fast they should nerf it." That doesn't affect the rest of them (I think the healing speed is fine, but just an example).

Ok, you are a very stubborn person to reason with, jeez

It takes like 16 seconds to bless a totem that's not instantly and its not like they know where all the totems are either so they have to spend time looking for a totem to bless as well just like the killer has to find the blessed totem but at least the killer has a sound queue
3 -
DBD players when opposite side use perk they dont like.

This doesnt really feel like a necessary change, I dont have too many issues finding the boon

Again, CoH got nerfed 3 times in 6 months because it was living rent free on killers heads.

In case no one has said this already:
No.
If you can see the border, then you can immediately find the center and on a map that doesn't have multiple floors, that instantly tell you where the boon is. Might I suggest turning your headphones up because the boons literally make noise XD
3 -
Yeah the boons make noise when you literally sit on top of one, they don't even alert you when you're in their area like they do for Survivors.
0 -
Because Survivors were living rent free (uninjured and happy) in matches instead of paying the RENT. (Getting injured in chase and that having consequences)

Very true.

16 seconds is literally nothing compared to the 30 seconds or more it would take to find the totem and snuff it out, where I as a Killer literally can't multitask. The Survivors can just have 1 dedicated Boon totem guy that always blesses totems, 1 guy who does chases and 2 people who genrush.
I don't have 2 Killers, they have four people. They waste zero time doing this if they're even a little coordinated. ZERO EFFORT. If it really was a real time waste for Survivors and that was the point, then they should make blessing a Totem take 60 seconds. If they can get so much benefit from it then it would be only fair for the Boon totem user to have to dedicate over half a gen to it.
1 -
It takes like a minimum of 30 seconds to a minute to find and bless a totem and that is a survivor not pressing gens so obviously, the effect has to be strong. The strength of CoH is too high I won't deny but the rest are fine and this kinda change would just neuter the whole bunch. I'd rather they just nerf CoH to not give you the ability to self-heal.

I agree on something that.
Im also starting to think sometimes devs shouldnt reply on these posts 💀

And yet none of those "nerfs" actually did anything to reduce the massively OP effect of the perk. The last one in particular was a joke - less than 2 seconds longer for Self-Care in the boon area and even less impact on the other healing.
0 -
Sure. Let's mark all killer areas as well: BBQ, Discordance, Terror radious, Jolt... If killers can see affected places, so should the survivors.
Also, why an area? Assuming that you can find the center of a circle, why not showing the totem already in blue for the killer too?

Gen rush = Doing gens at the only speed they can be done while the killer fails to put pressure on the survivors
