Pyramid head grabbed unhooking survivor while face camping cage of atonement?!

What are we going to do with PH's cage of atonement? My soloq teammate just got grabbed while PH was face camping next to me for at least 14 seconds. I was shocked because if this happened, I should be flying away. Not to mention, he knows where the cages are every time they spawn.

1) It probably bugged or he was exactly the distance required for it to not move.
2) PH doesn't know where they are. But you can guess pretty easily (farthest location from you)
