We have temporarily disabled The Houndmaster (Bone Chill Event queue) and Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater Cosmetic (all queues) due to issues affecting gameplay.

The Dead by Daylight team would like your feedback in a Player Satisfaction survey.

Please focus on game health rather than chapter releases!

We keep getting more survivors and killers which just adds to the already large pool of bugs and changes necessary for the game, meanwhile there are bugs that have been in the game for years and changes that have been needed for years. Current survivors and killers then just take up more priority for fixes and all the older stuff just keeps getting shoved to the back.

I think everyone wouldn't mind a couple less chapters so that time, money, resources and energy can be better spent on fixing up loose ends and make Dead By Daylight a more well rounded game, thus giving it more longevity.

    Yes.

But they want to sell something new every 3 month so it is not going to happen.

Also in one of the last patches where they just did more fixes some people complained why there is no new stuff... so... difficult

I think alternating between game health patches for midchapter and new stuff for full chapters is fine. And a lot of people do want new content, their full chapters are typically when they have their biggest player base spikes.

    ^This!!!

I saw a suggestion on the forums where BHVR creates a team just for game health and then another team that works on content releases. The game health team can update old content, fix lingering problems such as face-camping and tunneling at gen 5, and generally focus on making the game more fun for people.

They're literally releasing a patch in 2 weeks that includes nothing but balance changes...

This patch isn't to fix game health, this patch is just randomly changing the meta. There's still a lot of game health issues that have been around since the inception of the game that have went unaddressed.

I’m going to blow your mind. Different people work on different things.

I think it would be a good idea to halt content release until ongoing in game issues are addressed. It would be a way to let the players know these things aren't ignored or forgotten and instill confidence of the player base in the devs. I know content is important for live games but every time something new comes out I see endless complaints from players that wish problems within the game were handled first.

Lol, a lot of 'game health' but no specifics.

I think what they are doing is fine. Game health wise, map balance needs a tinkering.

Camping within M1 Distance of a Survivor at gen 5. (6 years and counting)

Tunneling a survivor to death from gen 5. (6 years and counting)

*** Both of those are major game issues that haven't been successfully addressed for 6 years.

5:5 for both seems good tbh.

Tunnelling's about to be addressed, at least.

Which, on top of the other game health changes in the upcoming midchapter, hints to me that we don't need to demand one or the other. It seems like they can do both, if they use midchapters for game health and main chapters for content.
