Sadako Changes

I've been playing Sadako since her release, and overall I really enjoy her as a killer. I've read through other discussions people have had and compared them to my own experiences. Since everyone likes sharing their ideas, I wanted to "materialize" my thoughts

Starting out, Sadako is considered pretty weak, I concur. When I think about her, she lacks much of what makes killers strong. Yet, I don't think she really needs the usual treatment of some antiloop, I think some small changes could help improve the gameplay experience and make her more interesting to go as/against. This will focus on improving her special mechanic of Condemnation and adding some lethality to her kit, although adjustments to the cooldown of her televisions would make for a nice quality of life.

Firstly, I want to talk about Condemned; I feel like the original design holds up to the movies and it's a lovely idea. I would consider it a fact that building Condemned is far too long of a process, and that it's far too easily removed. Right now, I think about it like a pig party hat, that the killer has to charge up by being near you, that you can take off just by running to a box and getting it off in 2 seconds. THIS is sadako's main power, or should be, her stealth is secondary to the "curse" that she places on the souls who's annihilation she seeks. I think the build up should be more static, more predictable, and force survivors into actually interacting with the mechanic. After the first Condemnation stack is applied a survivor should gain another stack every 60 seconds, this effect should only be improved by holding a tape (it does this now, you gain a stack every 25 seconds with a tape.) This should continue to have the same effect of stopping the passive gain while in chase*

Secondly, Survivors should only be exposed at full stacks, and mori'able only after already being on hook stage 2 (like pyramid head.) These changes, at base, shouldn't really interfere with the main identity of the killer, and shouldn't make her overly powerful, but still improve her strength while keeping her identity intact. Survivors should be interacting with killers and their abilities, that's what makes going up against them unique. Condemnation passively generating after 7 minutes (bare minimum) should force more interaction from the survivor side, and give Sadako more of a fighting chance in match.

Obviously, this is only addressing main concerns, there's some number tweaks she probably needs, or maybe some other interactions like survivors spreading condemned to one another, or her television locations needing a change. I'd love to see more suggestions, or comments about what it's like to go against sadako as a survivor to give more perspective.
