New overcharge takes to long to work.
"Overcharge now causes a generator’s regression to gradually speed up after you damage a generator, in addition to its existing effects. On the PTB, this was set to grow from 100% speed to 400% speed over the course of 30 seconds. We found this to be a little extreme- especially when paired with Call of Brine- causing generators to quickly lose all their progress. This is particularly noticeable with solo Survivors who aren’t able to communicate that their nearly completed generator is regressing.
For the release, this is being toned down: The generator will start regressing at 75% speed and increase to 200% speed over the course of 30 seconds. If you’re curious, Overcharge becomes faster than the default regression after only 12 seconds. Overcharge can still be combined with Call of Brine to offset the reduced speed."
For 12 seconds it is worse than a regular non perked up kick. Making it necessary to run CoB with it feels to limiting.
I understand not wanting to hurt soloq as you mentioned above. But survivors (especially swf) rarely leave busy gens unattended for that long.

Correct. Which will make it a low tier perk instead of the supposed meta one.
I´m curious how killers will adapt to this new slowdown meta.

So for how long the 200% regression speed lasts ?

now, i prefer pop+ call of brine or call of brine and eruption.. against SWF with their comunication, overcharge never will goes to work fine

Until a survivor touches it or hits 0 progress.

So they changed it into a manual ruin ? lol

Which ruin will be.

They really should at least have it start at 100% regression, not 75%. 75% means you’re actually getting less regression initially than if you had no perk at all which is really silly. Just start at 100% and ramp up to 200% or whatever other ceiling the devs want it to reach.

At 12 seconds its somewhat a 100% regression which means that its utterly pointless to equip as the few time it will have 200% its so minimal you might as well ignore it, and the skillcheck, does anyone with more than 40 hours fail the overcharge skillcheck?
Just equip call of brine, its more reliable and doesn't depend on people being bad at the game, that being said the regression on ptb seemed to be too much so I guess its fine, altho balanced, overcharge went back to being garbage.

Honestly, all they needed to do was make it scale up from 100% to 300% over 30 seconds, a compromise from being a constant 200%. What really needs to happen is that survivors need an animation time to interact with a generator, like .5 to 1.0 seconds delay before they start or stop working on it similar to how a killer needs to spend 2.0 seconds kicking.

Yeah, it's back to being pointless. Oh well.

The nerf to pop will make it unviable to combo with call of brine.
Despite the bonus seconds to gen repair time, i doubt we´ll see much slower gens. I would even go as far as to say that gens will be completed faster than before. Simply, because the slowdown perks do so little.

Good, the combo with calll of brine was too broken
