Starstruck Base Kit
Since DBD is now doing base kits as survivors are getting Dead Hard in their base kit, it is only fair to give a base kit to killers as well.
My suggestion for the Killer Base Kit is a weak Starstruck. It happens far too often that survivors use body blocking to prevent you from hooking a survivor. The mere notion that this can work is ridiculous and makes no sense what-so-ever. My suggestion is therefor as follows:
IF the killer is carrying a survivor;
IF another survivor is within 1 meter of the killer;
THEN survivors meeting these conditions automatically receive a wound every 1.5 seconds.

To such an eloquent response I can only reply with: Yes.

it was quite eloquent because your idea is of starstruck:
- makes sabotaging harder
- punishes teamplay
- does not fix any issues
- might create new issues
- will not change game balance and is just a change to make a change
- will ruin getting protection hits
- mad grit will become useless
- same with agitation and iron grasp

- makes sabotaging harder <<< no it doesnt, doesnt hinder it at all
- punishes teamplay <<< no it doesnt, it punishes exploiting body blocking
- does not fix any issues <<< yes it does, fixes survivors body blocking which is definitely an issue
- might create new issues <<< not an argument in any way, shape or form...
- will not change game balance and is just a change to make a change <<< not an argument in any way, shape or form...
- will ruin getting protection hits <<< good, shouldnt be a thing in the first place "oh yeah let me just walk into the path of that katana/sledgehammer/bat/etc for you". Just stupid.
- mad grit will become useless <<< dont see how
- same with agitation and iron grasp <<< good, maybe killers can have some skills that arent there merely because of obnoxious game mechanic exploitation by survivors
You are just saying random nonsense.

yikes
makes sabotaging harder because breaking the hook right in front of the killer and normally being out of range would just damage you :)
punishes teamplay because a team that tries to help someone that got caught by the killer now gets punished for trying to help :)
bodyblocking is not an issue, never was, never has been; it has plenty of counterplay and even some advantages such as injuring the entire team, downing another survivor, giving you free hits and still hooking the survivor on your should; completely not an issue because both sides get a bonus :)
creating new issues is a reason not to do something; look at Circle of Healing and tell me this perk isnt the reason hit and run died and created problems for a lot of killers :)
why are you the one to decide how protection hits work and that they shouldnt exist? it might be weird thematically but like... look at the healing animation, why can people self-unhook, look at some skins, why are some killers even doing the entities bidding? a lot of things dont make sense but that is just how the game is; sometimes things dont need to make sense to be valid :)
people getting damaged around you makes mad grit useless because there s no reason for anyone to take hits which is the entire point of the perk: to get hits on other survivors while carrying a survivor :)
agitation is used for distance + for getting surprise hits on survivors so now it is only used for distance which you'll never need since nobody is bodyblocking unless sabotaging but that barely if ever happens :)
iron grasp is for distance + for making bodyblocking worth less wiggle time; now since nobody is bodyblocking you'll almost never need the distance unless sabotaging but that barely if ever happens :)
it is not random nonsense
i see no valid arguments here. this looks more like a rant because you had bad experiences with bodyblocking, not like an actual good suggestion to make the game better
I am out

when is dead hard a base kit?? #########

A very truthful post with an amazingly balanced idea. Thank you.

Survivors are getting Borrowed Time base kit, not Dead Hard. These are completely separate perks.

Did... you miss that Killers got 50% of Brutal Strength, 25% of Save the Best For Last, and 10% of Pop goes the Weasel without the requirement of getting a hook?
Kicking a gen with zero perks to buff it is time efficient after a third of a second of regression. That's honestly wild.
I really don't think Killers got the short end of the stick with the base kit changes.
Edit: I was actually using the new pallet break speed (2.34s) instead of the new gen break speed (1.8s) in my calculations... dry kicking a gen will be just... worth it now since the 5% instant regression essentially deletes 2.25s of survivor progress and it takes you 1.8s to do.

Body blocking is not an exploit
also can we stop using real world logic in a video game, so what if Claudette wants to take a hammer wack for Yun-jin, ITS A VIDEO GAME

Killers are already getting quite sizeable basekit buffs. They don't need something as extreme as conditional expose.
Not to mention this would largely be a buff to killers who don't need it (like Nurse) while not helping killers who use a buff. Freddy won't expose asleep survivors. Trapper/Ghostface/Pig can just be ran from.

Rough game as killer?
