idea for iron will

with the recent ptb iron will was changed from reducing grunts of pain by 100% to 75% and added the caveat that exhaustion disables this perk.

the conscious among players is that none will use this perk as its not worth the perks slot anymore so I have come up with a change that will give this perk its intended stealth use but still reducing its effectiveness in chase.

Iron will

when injured, reduces the sound of your grunts of pain while

  • standing still by 50/75/100%
  • walking by 25/50/75%
  • running by 0/25/50%

this way players who want to use this perk for stealth still can but players who used it for chase mind games will have less of an effect.

    The thing with iron will was that u were completly silent. U wouldnt even make Sound of breathing (like u do when healthy).

    Making it 75% all The Time is right thing, but i think it shouldnt have exhaustion req... but i dont think it will be trashed.

    eh, it might ve been the right thing but the perk is completely unusable.

    it is almost as if they did not even have the perk equipped. sure it was not as loud but you could still pintpoint were a survivor is by sound.

    the only thing this perk did, which was disable tracking by sound, is easily possible still. it is quite literally useless.

    imo they could ve just slapped the exhaustion part on top of it and not nerf the numbers. but their objective was "shaking up the meta" not by nerfing perks and putting them in line with others but by simply deleting meta perks.

    It should just work like Lucky Break. If that's balanced, then it'll work for IW too.

    Timer, recharge and 100% silenced grunts (but makes breathing sound). Remove the exhaustion condition.
