Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Territorial Imperative Suggestion: Indicator When Active

Territorial Imperative: Perk border now glows when active. (Whenever you're 32m+ away from the Basement with a hooked survivor, add the glowing border effect to Territorial Imperative to indicate whether it's active, glowing and will trigger or dull and you're too close.)

This doesn't actually buff the perk in any way, just gives greater transparency on how it actually works. Ambiguity on whether or not the perk is functioning shouldn't be a balancing mechanism.

doesnt even need to be a glowing border.

It lights up when far enough away

it darkens as soon as you are too close

cooldown is indicated like normal with the red light slowly fading away

you know the perk is off CD when it s not red, you know that it should work when someone goes into the basement when it is lit up and when it s not you re too close. Basically it should work the same way as devour hope

Territorial Imperative really needs a revamp or buff, it's such a weak effect. You get a 3 second aura when someone enters the basement, but only when the ability isn't on cooldown and only if you're really far away. Even if you hypothetically have someone hooked in the basement, you'd get a loud noise alert when they're unhooked so the aura prior to that might give you a couple second head start getting back, maybe? Assuming you aren't in the middle of another chase or something?

It's just a really terrible perk. I'd love to see it get changed to something more practical. They could even just totally get rid of the cooldown and aura duration and say "you can see the auras of survivors in the basement and within 5 meters of the basement stairs" and it still probably wouldn't be overpowered.

I really like the idea of a casual TI but really, even when it does activate, I tend not to notice - it needs to be paired with a noise notification! Maybe the Small Game one?
