Change To MMR System

So here's my suggestion that many people have already made, but I'll just add to it. Can MMR be determined by the player's actual gameplay throughout the match, countless times you'll get left on first hook in solo queue. And because you die, your MMR goes down just cuz of that, doesn't matter if you ran the killer most the match, did gens, ect. It's based on whether you live or die. Why should the player be punished just cuz their teammates thought, "nope don't wanna save them." There have been numerous times I and others have been left on hook just cuz they were the random and not part of the 3-,man SWF or some other reason.

You can bring kindred all you want, even if you do, it doesn't always help, sure you'll get a team that's either a SWF or also solo and helpful, that's cool, but they are rare for the most part, at least for me. That or the killer will assume you're part of the SWF (if there is one) or you are assumed to be a four man SWF if you're a coordinated solo team. Not always is this the case, but holy it happens more often than it should.

I have no clue about the killer side of things, but please do something about this. If they did change it at some point and I just don't know about it, my apologies, but holy this just seems broken if it is still the way it was before.

Id be really nice if they could find a way to at least include some weights to make a well-played loss "less loss" and an easy win "less win" to account for how things go - because I feel in a similar way that when survivors give up within the first hook and all just want to die and move on that I feel a bit of back-of-the-mind frustration that they're boosting me and I'm not even getting that much BP out of it.

That said, in the past they've said they've experimented with more complex models and didn't enjoy the results. I know they've mentioned the need to avoid "MMR inflation" where there are scenarios that the MMR system could consider everyone a winner - and I assume by extension that'd also mean not letting survivors treat a loss as a win (by dying but seeing their MMR improve or even just be unaffected)

So I don't really know how to weigh in beyond that.

Yeah I get where they are coming from, but base it on emblems them, make gold and iridescent as wins, silver and bronze as loss, obviously it'd be more complex than this, but solo queue is a nightmare by itself, the only way to prevent your MMR from tanking more is by SWF. But if you're a SWF, depending on the type of person the killer is, cuz I've met some who don't care if the players are SWF or not, they'll make the survivors lives absolute hell.

Plus, solo queue players, most likely don't wanna result to have to play in a SWF just so they aren't screwed over by the current MMR system.
