How long do we have to wait for the addon grind to be "fixed"

How long do we have to wait for the addon grind to be "fixed". It feels like my bloodpoints do nothing. I just keep buying entire bloodwebs, and I'm stuck with so many brown and yellow addons. Why are we forced to prestige with this broken addon system?

    and on top spending 20k to prestige when i just want to get more items not spend 20k just so i can get more items.
