"Meta shake-up" only affects one side
Now I'll preference this by saying MOST of my games yesterday weren't horrendous and I played a few solo (they sucked) and the rest in a duo.
That said I mainly want to address the supposed meta shake up. For survivors, the perks are all over the place and I haven't yet noticed a meta forming.
On killers, the meta itself hasn't changed. Killers are still using BBQ (despite people claiming it was just for the BP even tho everyone knows it's an amazing perk without it), Thana got buffed for some reason to the point where even killers other than Legion/Plague have been using it, I've still seen Ruin in over half of my games, Pain res is still getting used, and every now and then, someone will swap out one of the old gen regression perks for a new buffed gen regression perk. So what exactly changed about the killer meta? They pretty much took a box of cheese-its and slapped a new label on the box that says "cheese squares" and tried to pretend it's something new when it isn't

To clarify on BBQ, it wasn't only useful for BP; it's just that BP was the primary reason for running it when other aura perks are so much better.

See I feel like if that were true, I'd be seeing other Aura reading perks and I don't aside from Lethal Pursuer but that was also already a part of the meta as well from the time it released.
Every now and then, I'll see something like Nurse's on a Pyramid head for some cheeky hall hack snipes but that's it. What other Aura reading perks would you say are better and why is no one using them?

BBQ is probably still being used out of habit/laziness.
Darkness Revealed is a much better informational perk, as is Floods of Rage and Bitter Murmur. As for why no-one is using them, your guess is as good as mine.

There's also a possibility people were using the old builds to see how they still function. Maybe give it a few more tries today?

Darkness revealed I'll admit is stupid strong. I'd even argue slightly broken on indoor maps where there's literally lockers everywhere. Went against a Nurse with Darkness Revealed on The Game (she played the Jigsaw offering)......not a fun experience
It's possible but I played like a good 8 hours yesterday in total and noticed little to no difference in what the Killers were running
