How would you guys buff Sadako? (the Onryo)
Personally, I'd say:
·She should be able to Demanifest much faster and Manifest a little bit faster. This would really help streamline her chase and just be a good QoL buff. Hell, even give her Wraith's The Ghost- Soot add-on and hide her red stain for a few seconds after manifesting.
·TV's shouldn't turn off if teleported to, only when survivors turn them off themselves. Remove the Condemned gain when teleporting. She shouldn't be punished for using her own power, so leaving it to survivors would be the best. Do they risk Sadako coming around the map quickly or do they risk gaining Condemned from tapes? It's their choice.
·Fully Condemned survivors should be Exposed. With Condemned as is, it's hardly a threat if the player is smart. While the insta-mori is nice, Pyramid head has the same mechanic with twice the threat level. Adding Exposed should be a good punishment for those who are careless, or maybe even COCKY, with Sadako's power.

Remove the fixed camera when exiting a TV.
Maybe increase the celerity duration a bit and drastically increase the availability of her teleports. It's extremely punishing as it is and downright obsolete when dredge can do what it does.

That's why I like her but also understand she needs buffs. She should play similar if not identically to Dredge yet she is drastically weaker.
But I guess Trapper and Hag have shared that ideal too.

Yeah, I think Killer now needs more buffs. R u really kidding guys ? You can just play 4 slowdown perks and u win every game.

I have a bunch of ideas.
The no brainers:
- Exposed when fully condemned
- Increased speed boost after exiting a TV
- Reduced TV teleportation cooldown
- General add-on rework
Some more unorthodox suggestions:
- Survivors get a 1% movement speed reduction for each stack of condemnation
- TV exit time reduced by 1 second (it would make getting stacks and doing cool plays mid chase easier)
- One survivor gains passive condemnation at double the rate and must retrieve the tape to pass the curse to another random survivor.
- When Sadako teleports, survivors are camera locked to the TV (similarly to how hag's traps camera lock you when you trigger them) if they are within visual range of it, and suffer a slight movement speed penalty.
Personal pet peeve of mine:
- Inexorable stare rework so that it is more akin to Ringu (the whole "static after death" is more a thing from the american version)

A really cool idea i saw on the forums was that if a survivor uses a tape to remove their curse it spreads 1 bar to all other survivors.
Only way to break the curse is to spread it and stuff.
Also the amount of time to get a bar of condemned while holding a tape should be 24 seconds for fluff reasons

Damn this is pretty cool too. But I could see it becoming either too weak or too strong on certain maps, you would really rely on how fast you can get survivors condemned to make them actually grab tapes.

Whenever she hook survivor, all surviors should get one stack.
She will still need more buffs but this one will be good buff to rewarding her for good play.

I would:
The lullaby that can be heard like wraith grunts.
When sadako goes out of the TV and you get condemnd you get one bar and the bar will keep ticking till you are fully condemnd.
Once you reach full condemnd you cant quit it. Sadako can teleport to you like Pinhead once and you will be permanently exposed and moriable.[ Losing the curse after your time passed by sharing the tape was never on any film or media as far as I know, you just die.]
Once you are condemnd you will be able to interact with a TV to retrieve a VHS and a TV the furthest possible.If you do it you lose 3 bars.
Teleport cooldown between tvs shorter.
Tvs shut off by survivors turn on by themselves quicker.
Now survivors can turn of tvs but they get 1 bar of condemnd per each TV.

I would like the idea that she could walk through house-walls (not breakable or pallets) while demanifested.

Sadako needs buffs as she is literally the worst killer in the game, its just buffs to specifically her that she needs cause even with the recent killer buffs you can still break her ankles

Give her a revolver.

Increased vault speed while Demanifested and immune to pallet stuns and able to walk through dropped pallets while Demanifested.
Can no longer do any actions while Demanifested other than vaulting.
Manifesting takes a little bit longer, and she can't begin manifesting inside a dropped pallet or pass through one during the manifestation cast.
Is actually quiet while Demanifested.

I'd eliminate the mini mori altogether and add various debuffs to each level of condemned. Then lower the TV cooldown substantially.

Sadako does not need anything mindblowing for a buff.
All she literally needs is to eat some of her addons and have them fuse into her base kit. In particular, the faster Movespeed after Teleporting, her brown/yellow Chase addons, and her Iri Videotape addon.
Imo I think it's gross that her Video tape isn't base kit. I don't think this is like Pinhead's Engineer's Feng where it's simply a top tier addon that's good, I think the Video Tape is actually a CORE part of Sadako's kit and I'm tired of it being locked behind BP.(with the new Prestige, good luck finding any tapes...)
Chaining BBQ and Teleports can create a gameplay loop where you're constantly pressuring Survivors with chases, and exerting your pressure around the map, all while slowly building up condemned. You likely won't Condemn anybody, but the threat of it coming up will be there.
Sadako already has the tools she needs to grow :(

1.When the survivor puts in the tape, the TV turns on.
2.The time to insert a videotape is extended to 6 seconds.
3.When the survivor has 6 layers of condemnation, the killer gets a prompt, and the survivor beside him slowly gains condemnation.
The BUFF I can think of is this.
Let condemnation be truly threatening.
And seriously, now When survivors remove condemnation , the killer gets weaker, this is too over.

My thought is lean more into Condemned. Make it easier to inflict and change the reward when doing so (either inflict effects for so many stacks or make it easier to max out). So things like your idea of their becoming Exposed after, say, 3 or 4 stacks to make them want/have to move tapes around.

I don’t think she actually needs a huge buff, she’s about on par with Wraith. I wouldn’t turn down a minor buff or two though.
- Get rid of her lullaby. She’s the only Undetectable stealth killer that has a lullaby and I’m not sure why. 🤷♂️ Removing that would improve her stealth a bit.
- Let survivors passively gain Condemned stacks over time similar to how survivors sleep timers increase over time against Freddy. (It doesn’t need to increase really quickly, just enough that survivors are periodically coerced to get off the gens and can’t just ignore the stacks altogether.)

Make being demanifested feel like its worthwhile. Aside from teleporting being demanifested feels pointless most of the time. Also make condemned something actually threatening by making it build passively.

- Remove Lullaby from Demanifested Form
- 50 Sec TV Cooldown instead of 100
- Survivors now build up Condemned as if you were carrying a tape when within 16 meters of an active TV
- Exposed when Condemned
- 180 degree view angle when coming out of TV
90% of these are numbers changes or super simple additions, but they would make her feel far more threatening. Her chase power could be better, but I think she'd feel fine with just these changes, mindgaming with her power can be reserved for addons.

I like that idea a lot.
Personally I’d like to get rid of her lullaby but I’m not sure how to do so in a way that doesn’t just guarantee constant grabs.
