Is it possible that the games code may be getting looked at sometime?

Sorry if this is a dumb question as im new here.


Im a big fan of the AI zombies nemesis has and was hoping there would be a way to add more than 2 of them, but i learned that the game can not handle anymore as it just crashes, which was a bummer for me.


But this got me thinking. The codes limitations likely prevent a lot of cool stuff from being added because of how taxing a lot of it would be. So with that in mind, do you think looking into the code for a way to fix/rehaul it a bit would be feasible?


Im not experienced at all with coding and i imagine that reworking some code would probably be very difficult if not impossible, so im not trying to demand anything. Im just personally curious as to if its possible/ something the devs might consider taking a look at, as i feel like it could really increase the scope of whats possible in game and maybe give poor nemesis the ability to have an army of zombies instead of 2 lol.
