A small tweak to Eruption

Hello, so

Eruption got buffed with the patch and I'm pretty okay with the change itself, however I want to propose a change to how the 'incapacitated' aspect of the perk works. It is heavily punishing for solo teams or teams that aren't fully coordinated or communicating as without it, there's no 100% way to know someone's going down across the map

So here's my proposed tweak:

Eruption doesn't trigger as soon as a survivor enters the dying state, but rather it triggers with a very small delay. I'm talking 0.5s to 1s. That way, once a survivor is aware the perk is in play - they can adjust their playstyle to avoid a very crippling debuff.


The perk description would look something like this:

The NE-α parasite provides you with the intelligence and awareness needed to set a trap.

After kicking a Generator, its Aura is highlighted in yellow.

  • 1 second after a survivor enters the dying state every affected Generator explodes, regressing their progress by -10 % and causing their Auras to disappear.
  • Any Survivor repairing a Generator when it explodes will scream and suffer from the Incapacitated Status Effect for 15/20/25 seconds.

Eruption has a cool-down of 30 seconds.

Thoughts? Is this too much or too little?
