My thanks to the developers!
I've been playing DBD since the end of Stranger Things chapter. I mostly play as killers, but sometimes I also play as survivors. The latest update has made a lot of changes to the perks, and a bit to the core gameplay. And I'm happy with this update. I no longer have to sweat like hell just to play. that 10% to hit and break is good. And the modified "dead hard" brought an incredible variety to the game. So many different "exhausted" perks are used now. And the pros can make dead hard shine in a new way.
I'm happy that the game develops in its own ways. But it's a shame that part of the community, accustomed to monotony, is against this. And they disconnect or kill themselves on the first hook.
But despite this, I hope the developers will not follow their lead, but will continue to develop the game for the better.
Thanks again and good luck with everything!

As a survivor main with thousands of hours and years of experience who has had a pretty negative experience since 6.1, I will smile and say I am not in favor of monotony and I am not against changing things up. While I am happy you are personally content with the changes, I'm not sure the bigger picture is being looked at.
What I am against is a seemingly wide-spread, negative experience as a survivor who is at the mercy of the other players. While I agree that giving up on hook or DCing are both very frustrating, the overwhelming increase I've personally witnessed has to be a symptom of a larger issue at hand. I just want to have fun lol, and I try each match, but I cannot pretend that everything is fine and dandy with this game when more than every other match is an un-fun, hard loss due to people giving up for various reasons. While it's great that you no longer need to sweat each match, the other side is filled with people who could claim the exact opposite, sadly :(
Change is necessary and I endorse it! However, it should be done correctly. I personally do not believe all the particular changes made in 6.1 were the correct changes that needed to happen. Some were fine, but sadly some of them have genuinely hindered many people's playing experience. I don't claim to know how to solve it, but I recognize there's a core issue, here.
I'm not putting blame on anyone for MY experiences, per se. I can only speak on what I've witnessed. Many people like yourself seem happy, and that's great! Of course I know you can't please everyone, but I haven't played so many toxic, un-fun, and unsportsmanlike matches in years since this update lol
