reassurance change
I am an advocate for this perk. but it should be basekit tbh. and limited uses. lets be real... this perk is gonna be abused for sure and then there is the if you give survivors a chance rto unhook they will because if youre not camping then there isnt any point. But sometimes camping and tunneling are needed. like if you have 3 gens around the area you shouldnt leave, although i doubt that can even be coded.
but endgame deactivation, seriously some matches are out of your control, most of us cant handle a tourney squa who wnats to win and yes death squads are rare but i faced superaaronnova 2 times within like a week or 2 back when crossplay came out. so good teams arent impossible and sometimes they are just average players good on gens ya know and sometimes you have a god cowshed. everyone knows some rng can cause easy wins.
so why not limit its uses to where it guarantees all gens are done? if a bubba has lethal and downs someone instantly he is guaranteed a 2k, unless he somehow downed a member of a tourney squad fast enough and you guys are just gods at looping by the time the gens are done and that guy is dead he has 2 kills, yes it isnt the same for every killer, but still camping is almost guaranteed 2k for everyone depending on circumstance and teammates and rng.
Now lets say we made it to where reassurance is basekit and can be used once. thats a whole 2 minutes which is what it takes for 1 death on hook. and if you use 2 activations on the first guy its another minute, so 3 minutes on 90 second gens and if everyone splits up they can get the win if the set up is right, and if they use all of them its guaranteed 3 man out. it punishes bad plays and also requires more timing and precision to use.
but on the case that the killer leaves that survivor knowing the plan, he cant camp anymore because he has wasted time and the only way he can win is by going for hooks and making people use their perk and the killer could just camp for 20 seconds and when you activate the perk he can leave and bait out the perk and camp when needed towards the end.
Maybe i missed a few scenarios because i havent played the ptb, but this perk 100 percent is necessary but perhaps a bit too powerful and some situations camping is totally fine and justified

I assume the end game is an oversight. They only recently learned that free escapes aren't okay, so I expected this stumble. I am sure it will be fixed for live.
As for a one time use per survivor at 30 seconds base kit, that sounds fine to me. Probably healthier for the game, but Behavior prefers abusable bandaid fixes.

yeah thats so true, they band aid free escapes by making abusable tunneling XD and then tried counteracting that, i mean i tried tunneling and a surv had ds, otr and dh and it cost me the game, although idk why i did im pretty sure i was on autopilot just doing whatever came to mind late at night, but it goes to show that to actively waste killer time you have to use 3 perk slots XD their fixes need fixing

Heck, if they're gonna troll their teammates, leaving the hook is just more beneficial for the killer, one survivor wastes their time trolling their teammate, you get to deal with just 2 survivors, lol

Only change should be that it deactivates after the last gen is done. That's it. It's fine as is. If you don't want to pressure survivors off of gens and waste another survivors' time by camping them, survivors deserve a way to combat that until the game is over.

well sometimes that isnt gonna work out, a swf who does gens will do them regardless, ive had a 4 man do the gens really fast against me and I had couldnt do anything and ive had swf not do them fast. camping os a strat for a reason, sometimes survivors are very smart and good with gens and when that happens your casual build wont work, and to not camp is to just accept a loss, but that goes straight to individual playstyle. if the gens went really fast even if you played well then win however you want.

Correct and stopping the hook timer is ALSO a strategy. If its a perk, its a strategy. NOED is a strategy. Face camping is a strategy. Tunneling is a strategy. THIS is also a strategy. It allows you to divert the killers' attention onto the hooked survivor while you and the others' pound gens. If you want to camp, CAMP, but just know it WILL be countered now. Its not a "punishment", its a perk and fair gameplay. If I load into a match, get tagged instantly by a Nurse with Lethal in the first 10 seconds and get hooked then get face camped, my team deserves a chance at the win still. They should not be punished for my ######### run or the killers' playstyle. We all deserve a fun match. If the definition of fun is standing in front of a survivors' face for 2 minutes so they don't get to experience ANYTHING, well, have had it. Now there is a counter.
Final Note: If gens are flying that fast, you're already messing up as killer. After the first 2-3 gens, the rest are usually harder to do without getting caught by the killer due to snowballing. Pressure means leaving the hook. Not staring at a survivor, giving free gen time to survivors then complaining about gen times. They even had 50 seconds more to the game on average and reduced a lot of actions across the board. If you STILL don't apply pressure, that's on you.
