Survivors shouldn’t be punished for repairing generators

Here is my issue. Dead Hard got a much needed nerf as it punished killers for attempting to hit a survivor. It punished for the most natural action, and to counter this perk killers needed to not hit a survivor, which is paradoxical with the killer role, where their main objective is to hit, down and hook survivors. But now similar issue can be seen for survivors. They get punished by repairing generators. Perks like Dead Man’s Switch paired with Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance or just Eruption on its own have following counter to them: “don’t work on generator”, which is paradoxical with the survivor role, where survivor’s primary objective is to repair generators. And yes, combo SH:PR + DMS can be countered pretty easily by letting go of the generator before killer hooks, but I didn’t see anyone doing this on the killer’s first hook (do you see similarities to DH). But what about Eruption? How do you counter it? Here are my suggestions to help fix this issue:

Dead Man’s Switch (small change): activates 1 second after hooking the survivor. This change will only prevent activating DMS with the SC:PR. Every other aspect of this perk will remain the same.

Eruption (big change): after kicking a generator it immediately looses 5% progress. Regression speed is set, however, to 0% (it doesn’t regress) (can’t be changed with perks). Affected generator is shown in yellow aura. After a survivor enters a dying state survivors working in the affected generators will scream, revealing their location. Affected generators loose 20% progress and begin regressing at 200% regression speed. The cooldown could be removed, but for me the important part was to remove punishment for working on generators.

    You can literally see the aura for when to let go of the gen right before Pain Resonance goes off.

    Eruption with comms is simple to play around the Incapacitated, and would be for solo if they had better communication options too, which they should have anyways. Just say "I’m about to go down" before you go down so people know to let go.

    DMS isn’t punishing you for doing a gen, it’s rewarding the killer for pushing you off the gen.

    Do you disagree with the suggested changes? They are easier to implement imo than major solo q improvements that you suggest. I don’t see how adding for example a ping system could help you say that you are about to go down. Also the game should be balanced not only around top MMR, but in as many places as possible. Also would this changes hurt high MMR?

    If I learnt anything from years of DotA 2 it's that quick chat wheel/pre-made text comms are quickly forgotten or often ignored/missed even when used often. The only way to guarantee your team knows is voice comms.
