Hook/kill Rework Idea

So, since tunneling and camping seem to be a hot topic of discussion as of late. I had an idea that would reduce it's efficiency, albeit in the games current state would probably drag a lot of killer kill rates down.


The simplest solution to me, is to get rid of the "3 Lives" mechanic.

Make the killers objective solely to get 12 hooks.

A survivor would be able to be hooked multiple times during a match but no kills would be granted unmill the 9th hook. Then an additional one on the 10th hook, so on and so on.


I want to re-iterate that in the games current state, this idea would not work as it would likely drag a lot of killer kill rates down, but perhaps an idea to consider down the line.


(As a bonus there could be Very-Rare or Ultra-rare Offerings that would reduce the total number of hooks required in a match by one or two respectively, So survivors would start dying one or two hooks earlier)

    This has been suggest before.

    The issue is that killers can still tunnel without impunity, and farm those first 8 hooks from one weak survivor, then hook the other three once and get instant kills.
