An idea on how to significantly improve gameplay without doing anything too complex.
I have some new mechanics that could change up the game a lot. Dashing and stamina. Hitting a certain button (not sure which button it should be) and then hitting the movement button/buttons that correspond to where you wanna dash. This makes it harder for killers to hit you. But this comes with a drawback, stamina. Survivors now have a stamina meter that goes down when running or when dashing. Though standing still or walking allows it to recharge. Though it recharges faster when staying still. This means that survivors now have to carefully manage this resource. You now have to choose when to run and when to hide. This also forces survivors to take turns when looping the killer, since you now can't run forever. This also makes stealth useful as well without making looping pointless. Since now you have to use stealth more, cause you can't always loop. This also forces survivors to have mire varied perk builds since now a single survivor can't loop the killer forever, meaning that survivors will often have to switch jobs between gens, stealth, and looping. This could add so many new ways to play and add more complexity to the gameplay. The new dashing mechanic plus a higher focus on stealth would also help counter killers like nurse and blight.
