We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

That must be a bug.
The puke is clearly green and you can see in a few frames leading up to the hit that Plague does not have red puke smoke/sparks. The puke progresses from 0% to 100% in less than 1 second as you round the corner into Shack.
I wonder if the bug is somehow related to that shack pallet, since puking on those is a binary interaction of [infected] or [not infected], and while we can't see clearly if the puke infects the pallet, it is reasonable to assume that she does hit the pallet after you move through the door frame and into the center of the Shack.
