Lobbies crashing with Wesker

I'm currently on Steam, have tried to play Wesker 3 times now and in every game at around 2 minutes in, the lobby suddenly stops when I try to use my power - myself and the survivors can still move, however by the looks of it they don't see me moving - I get stuck holding my power for about 7 seconds before the lobby then crashes, I get the disconnected from host error and am then given a DC penalty. Not sure what the issue is but I'm now up to a 15 minute DC penalty.
EDIT: I'm assuming it's an issue on my end because nobody else seems to be having the issue, I might've fixed it
