When you're in game and you press the home button to adjust some settings on the console then resume the game it kicks you out of your match and penalizes you. Or if you are in the lobby and go to home screen it kicks you out and says disconnected from host

Not a bug I don't think. When I noticed that happen to me I didn't do that again. It disrupts the internet connection doing that as does undocking the Switch while in game.
