Would it be possible to have an FPS counter ingame?

As someone who plays Console, i’d like to be able to have an FPS counter that is activatable in the settings that way I can see if the game actually can hold a consistent fps and see where the dips start appearing at, helps alot for me to spot some fps drops in alot of other games I play so I can actually report them without needing it to be a massive dive for it to be noticed

I'd like this as well. It would help tracking frame drops by action, map, perk activation, etc. While I know most of the triggers by now, some around for years at this point, this would enable us to narrow down recreating them when reporting.
I have no idea the coding or resources needed to add this, as I'm no expert.
