Make the total amount of earned bloodpoints visible in postgame summary. Core + Bonus
The current incentive system isn't really advertising how many bloodpoints are being earned by the side that needs players the most. As a result this doesn't advertise to players that they should switch over to the side that needs players the most.
Currently the bloodpoint incentives are applied as bonuses, and the post match screen doesn't show any bonuses, just the core amount of bloodpoints earned during the match.
For example, my friend who is fairly new the game mainly plays killer. He stated that he was farming bloodpoints that day and I mentioned to him that we should play survivor together instead because there is currently a 100% bloodpoint incentive.
He responded back and said it didn't matter, because he was still earning more bloodpoints playing as killer than the survivors he was playing against, so he didn't see a point in switching to survivor for the incentive.
I had to explain to him that for some reason the bonuses don't apply in the post game summary, it's only visible to the players who earned it. He had no idea it was like that and it took us playing a couple of matches before he fully understood how the bonuses work.
This made me think about how many other players are out there who all assume the same thing. He can't be the only one thinking this. I asked a few others in my friend list if they thought they still earned more BPs as killer and to my surprise a lot of them did.
The whole point of the bloodpoint incentives are to promote players to play which ever side needs players the most.
I feel like this system would be MUCH more effective if the other side could see just how many BPs the other side was earning in total. If someone played as killer, and in the post game match they saw that most survivors earned an upwards of 80k bloodpoints versus the 30k they earned, I think that would make them think twice about queuing up as killer next match and consider trying survivor.
it's one thing to just say there is a 100% bloodpoint bonus, but it's an entirely different perspective to see the total amount of points they've earned right in front of you.
We already saw how effective this was on this forum and on the DBD subreddit when White Glyphs were introduced. There a large number of killer mains posting screenshots of the end game summary asking just how in the heck did a survivor earn 40k BPs in a single match. This lead to people explaining how the white glyph worked, resulting in many people who normally play killer switching over to survivor to earn those extra bloodpoints too with the challenge.
anyway, just my 2 cents.
