i remember when killers need to find survs. Now bhvr show them to the killer and kill them for him
10 -
every game i'm in, there's a survivor running Distortion.
it's me, i'm the survivor running Distortion. it could be you.
60 -
After it's buff, it's up there as one of the handiest killer perks
27 -
It’s in every game because trying to find a survivor is easily the most boring and often times infuriating part of the game, plus it’s buff made it synergise with every single aura-revealing perk in the entire game
i’ve been running it on basically every killer that needs to start chases ASAP in order to snowball and have never looked back
5 -
It removes 2 tokens for distortion. I couldn’t imagine a perk affecting itself, but it’s a killer perk, so I think devs supposed its fine
6 -
never played killer huh? Lmao
11 -
Not really it's a decent perk but it cost 2 perk slots to make it not a dead perk after 11 seconds into the game. If you plan on running a aura perk or two its nice to have but if you don't have any aura perks then your playing with 3 perks for the rest of the game after 11 seconds.

Yes, I played some matches before the patch as wraith, and it was always 4k because I was in low mmr and I have 5.000 hours as survivor
0 -
Ok, then you have no grounds to stand on with commenting on how it is playing killer.
13 -
Not only is its primary effect fantastic, its secondary effect makes so many aura perks that much better. I don't mind going against it because it gets the "fun" part of the game (chases) going more quickly.
2 -
sorry, Public forum. And I have seen more killers than you

While you can generally have a good idea where survivor spawn, sometimes the game does funky things. I had a game where the survivor spawned on a gen near where I spawned, but since I assumed the survivors would be on the opposite side of the map I ended up wasting time looking for survivors who were near me the whole time.
Lethal Pursuer makes those uncommon situations easier to deal with. Plus it has an extra bonus effect with other aura reading perks.
1 -
It's a fun perk that helps Killers when they are at their weakest
Also has a lot of new cool synergies thanks to its new effect.
8 -
Distortion with its recent buffs it'd q good perk and counters lethal considering it still builds in chase
1 -
It's a good perk. It's not in every game though, that's an exaggeration. It's the fourth most used perk but that's still only about 15% of matches.
4 -
It's a really well-designed and solid perk that helps killer during the period they're weakest (early game). Also synergizes with other aura-reading sources greatly.
0 -
Not necessarily, most killers have aura reading add ons that greatly benefit from the time extension LP provides.
0 -
Lethal OR Mini-Corrupt should be Basekit.
2 -
only if your distortion is yellow / green
purple distortion covers the effect fully and thus only loses one token.
3 -
I would say most of them are low end addon but both been used is a good thing because that means there not using there best addons and less slowdown.

Cause I'm trying to get to a surv right as the game starts.
1 -
If a perk is good or useful, it will be run. Don’t blame anyone for using the hell out of a perk. Blame the devs for not supplying more perks that are just as useful or fun.
0 -
... y'know aura reading perks were in the game well before lethal pursuer...right? They've been a good staple of the game for a while
0 -
lethal only removes 1 token, just for you know
0 -
I mean... isn't better then running 4 regression perks?
After the changes to Lethal Pursuer it makes more sense to run it
8 seconds of aura reading on all Survivors (except for if (a) Survivor(s) running Distortion)
And 2 seconds of extra aura reading if the Killer is running other aura reading perks
0 -
Lethal isn't even close to dead hard in power level. And what's fun about killer? Chases. What perk get's me into chase the fastest? Oh lethal, that's crazy how that works. And as other's have said would you really like to go against full slowdown instead?
1 -
At the cost of 25% of your perk loadout.

Still utterly busted on some killers + combos
I ran this build a few times for kicks and they never got more than 2 gens done. Permanently undetectable ranged instadown killer with wallhacks? Good luck. And I have a billion lery's offerings on her and they are actually useful now
1 -
I'm less bothered that everyone seems to be running it than by the fact the seemingly every killer with it comes straight for me first, lol.
But seriously, it's really useful for like a few seconds, and beyond that only marginally, if you're running other aura perks. So 1-2 perks slots for only a burst of value. It feels bad when the killer is immediately on you, but it's fine.
3 -
I love lethal on almost all of my killers but my main ( spirit ) i dont use it. At least when killer has lethal they wont have 4 gen defense perks right? Lethal usually means the killer has another aura reading perk to go with it. Or is this not allowed eather, maybe killers need to just be perkless.

Normally at the start of the match I would look around, decide for a medium distance gen and 8/10 times finder it brimming with repair work being done.
But last time I had a game were ALL survivors spawned on the gens in my back that were literally the last place I would have looked,ie easy first gen done with no pressure from my part. Here Lethal Pursuer gave a lot of value!
And I love pairing it with I am all ears, giving you full knowledge of fleeing survivors flight vector or when they try to be cute and just stand still at a corner .

Old Lethal Pursuer wasn't really my favourite since it only worked at the beginning and then became a dead perk slot. But the only reason why i run it is for the 2 second buff to aura reading perks. I don't really think Lethal is an issue at all since any smart killer who's played the game enough can anticipate and predict where survivors spawn. Typically survivors spawn at the furthest Generator from your position. And most of the time i find survivors even without lethal. Sure seeing aura's at the start is sometimes a strong thing. But in the end it's not a necessity for me. And in the end the 2 second aura reading increase isn't the problem. it would realistically be the perk it's going with. I think Lethal is fine, not the worlds greatest perk. I see it as like running Bottony or Desperate Measures together to make a faster healing build or something. Because there's much stronger perks a killer can run and information perks can be strong but not always. Information can't always give you pressure.

been rockin LP since Nemmy released. You can take that perk from my cold, dead hands.

I prefer Lethal over Corrupt Intervention honestly any day, I like being chased its the funnest part of the game.
0 -
Its a 4vs1. You can use distorsión, but if someone doesn’t use it you’ll be dead anyway at the end. You’re not countering lp, you’re giving the problem to another survivor

I never really liked Lethal because it was a dead perk after a few seconds and took a whole slot and generally speaking I'm pretty good with guessing spawn points. However, I started using it on my Oni for a lack of better perks being unlocked on him after prestige (old system). Oni is, of course, one of the best users of Lethal but it's also just a bit of an addictive perk du to the QoL it offers. Even if you can guess spawn points you don't always know and survivors can often pick from two generators. The "addictiveness" here is kind of like Shadowborn though.
Now that it has a secondary effect, it takes up two perk slots though. If you still want Shadowborn then that's three perk slots, so that leaves only one slowdown perk or a hex without Undying, which generally seems a lot less sweaty and can backfire if a team just sits on gens!

It synergizes with a lot of stuff.
0 -
I actually disagree. I belive the dredge-perk with the lockers is better, because you use it once in the beginning of the match, you usually see one or 2 survivor at least, but it helps find survivors later in the game, too.
0 -
I am not giving any weight to the argument that this perk is broken or busted because it can be MORE useful with an Iridescent Add-On.
0 -
Just don't use slowdown perks, aura perks, instadown perks or chase perks, and you'll be fine. Stealth perks might be alright. For now.
0 -
lethal is a great early game perk that buffs most aura perks.
think of it like a new sort of corrupt, but instead of its purpose being to slow the early game, its to play aggressively from start to end
0 -
Yeah now you can do a gen guaranteed and call it out if your playing with friends
0 -
Better question why are gens so fast
1 -
Wallhacks in a hide and seek game are extremely overpowered.
0 -
corrupt got nerfed, while lethal got buffed
no, we don't complain about it like dead hard because it isnt remotely as strong as dead hard was.
1 -
agreed, lets remove hooked survivor auras for survivors
3 -
Same, though I used to run it even before the buff. and most my killer games have one or two running it aswell.
0 -
It's not or atleast I don't see it. It's a really bad perk to begin with though.
0 -
That doesn't affect survivors hiding from the killer.
0 -
It isn't. /thread.
