Can We Have Hatch Count As A Win?

With having perks and items dedicated to finding the hatch, and Solo Q being a bit of a disaster right now, at least for me, is it possible to allow hatch to become a win? I'm literally stuck in a never-ending cycle of matches with nothing but bad teammates who all die early game (1 or 2 gens completed) and the hatch seems to be the only way I have a chance to escape. At least then those of us dealing with this issue can move on to having better teammates. Right now I feel like every solo q match I'm with a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Survivors just running around, or crawling and not paying attention to hook states, doing gens, ect. Then, on top of it all, they decide to just suicide on their first hook even when I'm coming for the save. What's the point?

I just feel that at least allowing the hatch to count as a win gives some compensation to the survivor who played the best and was able to escape. Trying to open a gate when you're the only survivor left on some maps is just not possible with RNG, especially when the gates are near each other or there is a hill the killer can stand on and monitor both of them after closing the hatch.

I don't know, just some thoughts that I have especially with the state of solo q right now.

I had teammates who would get killed at 5 gens, because they would divebomb a hook to unhook someone while the killer is still there and the killer bodying them all while Im across the map trying to do a gen (I see the shenanigans go down due to Kindred). Sometimes I have no choice but to try for a hatch.

Honestly, it doesnt matter what the game thinks is a win or not. You can consider the hatch a personal win. The killer didnt kill you and you got away despite all odds.

You honestly cannot hide waiting for hatch. The killer is literally looking for it as well. 9 out of 10 times it spawns either right by where the last survivor died or near the shack. A survivor shouldn't be punished for getting their first hook and dying on hook after everyone else has died. I was also suggesting that this be implemented until they fix the solo q issue.

The game doesn't even determine it as a win when in those situations it should. I see teammates just leave others on the hook to die or suicide on first hook. One player shouldn't be punished because the other 3 players performed badly and it's not like we have a choice who we get queued with. I'd at least like this implemented until they have a fix for solo q's lack of communication and planning that SWFs get.

No. Hatch is consolation price. That's good enough.

Making it win would hurt the game especially in soloQ. Because playing better would mean getting meaner Blendetts that sabotage your chances to win as a team (ruining the game for everyone else).

You should play to win. Not play in a way to help killer

I'm talking about in terms with MMR. MMR is awarded up to a total of 20 pts per match. I think a hatch should count towards earning MMR points so a player isn't stuck playing with the same players who aren't as good as that player is. However, hatch rewards no MMR points leaving the player in the same spot they have been in. It also takes time and skill to find the hatch before the killer does. So no, it's not just a consolation prize, unless the killer gives said player the hatch. Plus, it'd bring back some use to the key which is basically dead in water right now.

I understood and my point stands. I don't want to be rewarded with 2 really good snitching, hiding blendetts that literally did NOTHING in match for learning how to loop killers longer and be efficient on gens.

Hatch are a draw and it's fine that way. Especially from MMR's point of view

Hatch doesn't spawn until there is 1 survivor left. 2 really good snitching, hiding blendetts that did nothing the match can still be found. If someone isn't doing anything the entire match, killers have perks to be able to find them. There's also the crows. Plus the killer still won because they took down 3 survivors. That's +15 MMR points out of a total 20 you can earn in a match. Killer's earn MMR much more easily than survivors do. Survivors have to complete all 5 gens and escape out the gate to earn 20 points. If someone could confirm that hatch allows the survivor to gain any points whatsoever, then I'll retract my question. Until then, it still stands. A survivor who hid the entire game played skillfully according to the devs because that's how the game is programmed.

Its apart of the game and even if you let your teammates die to get it. You might not even have been able to win if you unhooked them.

It may suck, but I could see it as being a win.

if you get just 1 that has a key and "left behind" perk, it is very probable, that she will actually be able to hide. Because everyone else is on generators trying to win. She would be hoping into different lockers and hiding herself for so long until crows would actually point at her.

If the killer does not get killer instinct (basically only legion), she would be able to hide and probably live-out everyone else (and everyone else would die, because it's 3v1v1). I don't find that healthy for a game. Especially from survivor's perspective, but even from killer's perspective (try to find that person is so much NOT fun). And the better she gets, the worse for everyone else.

Basically you are rewarding players, that never intended to touch generator even before loading screen. That is bad design
