can't set "active ability 2" input binding (steam)

I currently have no key binding for the active ability 2 button which means i can't use reassurance (just found that out today). When i press the button to set a new keybinding and then enter the key i want to use, it just doesn't work, the text "press any key" stays and nothing happens. I can change every other keybinding without any problem, this issue only happens with the "active ability 2" keybinding input. Reseting the input bindings to their default value doesn't solve the issue, it just removes the text "press any key" and the input stays empty.
edit: it seems that deleting the Config folder and relaunching the game solves the issue
