More Graphical Settings.

I know Dbd is built on the Unreal Engine 4 and has many changes you can make inside the .ini file, I however was wondering why is there not as many graphical settings as there is in titles using this same engine? I find myself looking for settings to higher my fps without having to lower the resolution scale of the render engine.

Setting such as AA make huge changes on performance along with AO.

I personally play on an ultrawide monitor and while I understand FOV advantage, it is nice to have Shadowborn as an option. (Maybe one day that could be base?)

I wanted to ask if there are any future plans into looking at optimising the graphics, so the games shading is not so dark when switched to Ultra? while it makes the game more atmospheric it results in myself having to switch to Desktop mode and risk crashing the game to higher my gamma.

I used a sharpen filter on low setting to try and bring back the fidelity and figured I would share the results here and maybe including it as an option in the games togglable options.

I can think of a few reasons why there's limited options there.

First off I believe they're after a certain look for the game, and as much control over lighting in particular as possible. Hence why the moon offerings were retired, and the need to use file changes and/or filters & outside stuff.

I also am quite sure the last gen consoles couldn't handle many of these options, with the shaders being likely the highest offender.

Since the devs don't really make changes just for one platform anymore, and altogether the consoles are the much bigger playerbase, they may not wish to spend resources in the visual settings area.

And this is from someone on an Xbox1, which has precious few options at all for settings in this game. Imagine our Switch cousins trying to run all that.

But none of this means their visual settings do not seem antiquated, even to me.
