Do better with Legendary skins, they suck
I'm hesitant to buy anymore "legendary" or high tier skin because they all don't change much of anything about the character, why even name it that high level of a tier if it's just changing clothes?
Survivor legendary's just began to even have their own voices which should have been default from get go imo.
Why is the mobile version of these games now imputing more likeable features like different mori's and such to enjoy but PC stays the same? But charge the same amount of money?..
You know how much bank could be made by implementing different mori' animations for killers and with their different you know LEGENDARY skins? instead were forced to work for and watch the same one over and over again why?
"Hunk" - Legion (Changes nothing but clothes and a voice over effect, why is this considered ultimate?)
"The Mordeo" - The Huntress (an ultimate skin but doesn't change anything about the killer other than clothes)
"Baba Yaga" - Huntress (changes her terror theme, voice, and clothes but is less tier than an ultimate and it's legendary...that doesn't make sense to have less features on a higher tier skin to me comparing to The Mordeo one)
"The Krampus" - Trapper (was hoping for different theme or something but it's a high priced change of clothes once again)
"The Titans" - Spirit/Oni (Both legendarys from a series that change nothing but clothes why?) No Attack on Titan themed anything?
a few other killers have PINK/ULTIMATE outfits and it changes minimal compared to others i don't get why these aren't on par with each other but are so expensive.
I'm not being pulled to play a phone version or different version when PC should have been sailing this ship before anyone else.
Is a phone version really gonna keep advancing while PC stays stagnant and matches price tags?
EDIT: For those asking WHY buy the skins and etc? THE ANSWER is because this is a forum and i'm giving my feedback after supporting one of my games by buying a cosmetic. I want them to be better and not buying a skin more expensive like a Ultimate that has less features than a listed Ultra Rare. it doesn't make sense to me it's an underwhelming purchase in some of these cases

The thing is, there's probably not more they can do with them (yet, anyway). If each legendary skin had a presteige cosmetic (so like if you have the original character presteige, it would also presteige the legendary characters you have), and if they had their own bios, that would make them a bit better.

I like most of the Iridescent outfits already. OP is down talking Baba Yaga while I’m over here thinking BY should be the standard.
Krampus and Blight’s Greek Outfit are incredibly detailed. I would like more of those. So idk if I agree that they’re bad or need improvement so much as I wish for more options.
It might just come down to matters of taste which reverts back to what Regulus said. “Don’t buy.”

Disagree with the "don't buy" idea. There's nothing wrong with improving skins. I don't think it'd require so much effort to add a custom chase theme at least. With hunk's skin, there's not custom terror radius theme, as well as no different voice, AS well as no different chase theme. I'm tired of the "don't like it don't get it" idea, that's just tossing out improvements to skins you might already like. There's nothing wrong with asking for simple improvements like a different voice for the hunk skin, Behavior isn't a small indie dev company. They're raking in millions of dollars of cash from this game. This isn't too much to ask.
By this logic, no game should have improvements to make the game feel better, because if you "don't like it, then don't buy it." No one is forcing you to buy dead by daylight, so if you don't like the balance changes, you don't have to get it. I understand if it's a super absurd request, but asking a custom chase theme and a different voice to a 15 dollar skin that a multi million dollar company with over 900 employees made isn't absurd.

legion's hunk skin actually has a unique run animation which is a first
it's also bugged and looks janky as hell though

No it still doesn't because it's for a series i enjoy or whatever it is regardless i bought it and just want it to be better considering it's advertised tier and comparing it to other items that have more exclusivity, How are you not gonna complain that one Legendary or Ultimate changes things about the character but the other one doesn't yet they are priced the same?

You're missing the point of my statement and just from what I'm reading thinking i'm saying "They suck don't buy them" when that's not it at all. I want them to be better and all Skins that Tier should have the same changes..IE: Special Mori(which i wish they would put on PC already) Special Chase Theme/ terror radios , Special Voice change,
Baba yaga has a great spooky new lullaby theme and such and is a pink at Pink's price, then you have an ultimate skin which changes nothing but clothes and is more expensive. It doesn't make much sense to me, even buying it anyway with that understanding you can just imagine all the minor tweaks that could make these things better

If it helps they did announce recently that they are making all the costumes for all the non-licensed characters be purchasable with shards. So things like Oni's Minotaur and dark knight outfits, the Huntress Baba Yaga, and so on will all have shard prices if you want to get them that way rather than spending cash.

legit the best Legendary skin in the who game
completely new sounds for every action plus a new voice and a new lullaby.
plus a unique lobby animations and music.
i get complaining about some of these but not the BABA YAGA sisters

I'll chip in for Hunk as I've purchased that - As an avid Resident Evil fan and a Dead By Daylight Enjoyer to me the Hunk skin is worth 10 dollars maybe. The outfit itself is awesome - How could you not like Hunk? But the status itself I expected just a little bit more flair especially since as a killer once I'm out of the lobby I only see the weapon which leaves me purely with audio things. I feel like I'm being reasonable when I say this skin specifically deserved a little more love.
While the Hunk skin is equipped in the lobby it should replace the Legion icon with Hunk. This would be local and purely client side but this would add A LOT to the immersion of the purchase. Hunk as crazy as it sounds is an insanely iconic and beloved character - Having him recognized as Mr. Death in the lobby with his own picture would have been awesome.
Past that - Once we get in game Hunk has a wonky run animation - Regardless on whether it looked good or not the killer can't see it so it does nothing for us. Cool addition though.
The audio effects is just Frank with a filter on top of it - They don't sound great and I'll outright say it - For 15 dollars I was expecting voice lines even if a small amount - Compare Hunk on Legion with The Chatterer on The Cenobite - Big difference.
The thing everyone expected here was custom chase music - Not only does Hunk have music in Resident Evil 2 that people instantly think of when they play through RE2 (Looming Dread) but Legion is a killer in DBD who is now known for having a large variety of chase music due to the mix tapes. The disappointment that Hunk didn't add onto this diverse set of chase music is very high and was probably the most disappointing part of this purchase.
Finally - The lobby shows Hunk using custom animations and stuff - That's awesome. This is pushing it but if none of the above things were improved I was expecting a custom Mori. I'm fine with no custom mori but at the same time without something popping out while playing as killer using this skin it just feels like an underwhelming purchase. The only time we get to truly enjoy our purchase is in the lobby. We should be able to enjoy our purchase while in game too.
Overall a disappointing purchase - I bought it because Hunk is one of my favorite Resident Evil 2 characters - He's cold, heavily objective focused and a badass. Hearing him or having some audio changes in game that were noticeable would have gave more of that feeling but that's all very lacking.

Because Baba Yaga is a lower tier skin than a legendary and has additions that ultimate's should already be carrying. I never said it wasn't a great skin

See this is what I'm talking about, some of the purchases feel mega underwhelming compared to something either higher tiered or lower tiered. Why should One legendary have cool additions like Chase themes, lullably, voices, and then an ultimate which is an above tier has none of that.
If it's just changing the clothes it shouldn't be listed more than a purple skin if you ask me.
The big question is why would you want to buy a more expensive skin with less features? bottom line

The Hunk skin is 15 dollars while Project W (The entire chapter) was 12 dollars. I expected quite a bit more from it than what we got. A lot of people will view me as entitled but look - I paid a premium price for something BHVR advertises as top of the line changing a character to be something new. If it's something new convince me of that or price it accordingly. Right now it just feels like Frank stole an Umbrella Ops outfit which if that's the case fair but price it fairly.
We'll compare Hunk / Legion to the only character that does it right.
Every single one of Cheryl's Legendary skins are priced accordingly - Each give their own in game icon and each have their own voice acting even if screaming. So what am I going to be told that BHVR couldn't even bother to record some stunned lines or grunts at minimum for the Hunk skin for Legion?
I want iconic quotes from Hunk even if rare. I want to see my own killer icons somewhere which will have to be the lobby. I want my 15 dollars to feel like I paid the premium it's advertised as.
Look I know this isn't purely about Hunk but the bottom line is I agree - We all have our personal issues with their pricing and that's mine.

Some of them are worth the money, like the survivor ones that literally change the character but keep the same perk of that original survivor. That's some awesome stuff, I can definitely tell you Baba Yaga is worth it way more than the tier above it "The Mordeo", Baba Yaga is a tier below and changes her lullaby and a bunch of other stuff, as it should.

Or they could just make it so if it's a legendary skin like Baba Yaga, it should have the same changes and be an actual legendary skin, Mordeo is the same price and just changes her outfit. There's a lot of skins like this in the store and its ass

I regret all the legendaries/ultra rares I bought except Carlos and Minotaur. You are right about them being expensive and not being that cool. They should definitely only be 1080 auric cells

I feel saying they "suck" is a rather unfair comment, considering how detailed and varying they are. Also, Cheryl is the first character to have a legendary of the opposite sex, and really they are quite excellently made.
However, I do understand what you mean about them giving a bit more, and having an alternative Mori or extra little additions is a good idea (I'd love the swamp creature outfit to make splashes of water when a trap is set off). That would make them more appealing as well, and a good way of further diversifying the roster. Those changes are great ideas, and I agree they could give more. In that respect.

Well looking specifically at the huntress the main difference between the baba yaga skin and the mordeo skin is the mordeo is a licensed skin which is why it is legendary

Yeah, I mainly buy the legendary characters that actually change their voice, and I had to pass on this because I guess bhvr was too lazy to add voicelines, mori, or literally anything

Simple I dont buy them unless i actually like and want them, they are just skins after all.
I'm just pointing out that in the case of those 2 skins the difference is the license which factors into the price, as far as I can see all the "legendary" skins are just alternate licensed characters.

The problem with that is at that point i feel like they should have their own slot and perk set at that point but i agree for more content always!
