We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.
PC/Steam - soundeffects suddenly gone, only music playing

I was trying to play a match as Ghostface on Cornfields when I noticed how all regular soundeffects were gone. No footsteps, no survivor sounds, no pallet or stun sounds, no gen sounds, simply nothing but the audio of the chase music whenever I encountered someone.
On a sidenote, the only soundeffect which I was able to hear was the swing of my knife, that's it. I had to close the game since it was pretty much unplayable. This bug creates a devastating handicap for its victim.
