Change the button to remove chains on PS4/PS5
I don't know about PC or the other consoles. But on PS is dumb that the button to vault and drop pallets is the same to remove pinhead's chains. Is so stupid that you get hit but the chains and do a slow vault just because you were next to a window, or drop a pallet you didn't intend to drop

Ha, yeah seen this many times playing as Pinhead. Got me more downs than I can count.

You should be able to remap the button, i have my vault/drop pallet set to square because i was tired of dropping pallets when i tried to heal people.

Im on xbox so had the same issues, bloodshade right above me has the actual names of the functions.

I'm on PS, you can remap the buttons. Default they have Actions (pallet, vault, locker) and Interactions (chains, repair, heal, cleanse, etc) set to same button. If you go into your survivor controls you can change that. I have Actions set to circle and Interactions as R1 - I also changed drop item to square to accommodate this change. I changed them way before Pinhead came to the game because I got sick of dropping pallets instead of healing someone off the ground.

If they mapped it to the item use button though you'd just waste flashlight battery/medkit charges every time you broke out of all the chains.

Can't use key config in playstation?
I don't know now as I haven't done that since I changed it about 5 years ago.
