The Bloodweb is Really Boring

The first time I saw the bloodweb I thought it was a neat concept. Then when I saw that the Entity would start to devour nodes I planned out what I was going to do. It was really exciting.

That feeling lasted maybe an hour.

I just spent 800k bloodpoints of mindless clicking. I have no concern what the entity takes. Not only am I going to be rolling in items anyway, most of them are irrelevant. Many types of offerings I'll never use, most add-ons are kind of junk. I buy the high quality add-ons, though it makes me feel like a jerk to bring them to a match.

-

Suggestion: Go in the opposite direction of the last change and instead increase blood point costs substantially. However, make items and add-ons permanent. I get the idea that by having items be lost it makes the games more intense, but that isn't happening. It prevents new players from bringing any type of equipment and experienced players have so much what is there to worry about?

As an example: instead of buying 20 brown medkits, I buy it once and have it forever.

Reduce the bloodweb from 50 to like 10 levels to compensate for this. It still takes as much time to work through the bloodweb, it just happens with fewer levels.

Higher costs and smaller bloodwebs would also make players think about their bloodweb choices. A player has to wonder if they let the entity eat something that it might be a long time before they get the option to purchase it again.

-

Change: This may require weakening/rebalancing some of the strong items/add-ons.

-

Added Benefit: This would make balance much clearer. While occasionally I'll see player not using perks, it is very rare. However, not using items/add-ons is a frequent occurrence. The game should not be decided before it begins by who is willing to use top level equipment.

-

Main Point: The bloodweb is boring and earning bloodpoints goes from feeling like a reward to an annoyance.
